Kathy Shaidle Conservative talk radio weekly highlights: October 5-9
(Read WP posts from Kathy Shaidle) | (Read MT posts from Kathy Shaidle) | rss

My latest Talk Radio Watch column is now up at WND.

You get FREE audio and video highlights from this week in conservative talk radio, plus news, transcripts and more.

If you can't keep up with Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Glenn Beck and other talk radio hosts, here's your chance to see (and hear) what you missed.

As usual, lots happened after my Thursday night deadline, not the least of which was Obama's win of the Nobel Prize. As I tweeted that morning, "It's gonna be a helluva day for talk radio" and I was right.

Glenn Beck's producer broke in with breaking announcements throughout the broadcast, announcing Beck as the winner of everything from the Academy Award for Best Picture to Motortrend Car of the Year.

Rush Limbaugh called the President a "laughingstock"; here's the show opening:

Mark Levin wondered (like millions of others, albeit in his own inimitable way) what Obama had done to deserve the honor. (FREE audio).

Also: Rush Limbaugh willbe co-judging the Miss America contest in January 2010, and is being interviewed on the Today Show this coming Monday and Tuesday (October 12-13).

I wish I could share the song his former SNL cast member Victoria Jackson played on Friday -- complete with ukelele! -- called "There's A Communist in the White House". Alas, Dennis Miller's audio archives are members only. Somebody did however, post this bit from another highlight of the week: Miller's hour long sit down with Ted Nugent:
