He has become so wildly erratic that it's hard to predict what he'll do next, but Sully now seems to be telegraphing his intent to do something even more monumentally embarrassing than his unrequited twink-lust for Levi Johnston. (Yes, those are live links to Sullivan's blog; click at your peril, or don't.) Though not a Sarah Palin fan herself, Professor Ann Althouse tries to talk Sully down from the ledge:

Andrew, read what you've written. Step back and read it with the eyes of someone who has never heard of you. You sound like a raving conspiracy theorist.

It's hopeless, Professor. A fool and his folly are not so easily parted, and Sullivan's Javert-like obsession with Sarah Palin's uterus appears as incurable as his other disease.
