“Safe, legal, and rare,” the moonbats bleat, reading off their bumper stickers. Yet this is where abortion leads:

This couple are so desperate for a baby girl that they terminated twin boys and are fighting to choose the sex of their next child.

The couple, who have three sons and still grieve for a daughter they lost soon after birth, are going to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal to win the right to select sex by IVF [in vitro fertilization] treatment. …

So determined are the couple to have a girl that they recently terminated twin boys conceived through IVF.

“Terminated” is mealy-mouthed liberalspeak for “murdered in the womb.”

Modern science allows us to know ever more about children before they are born. Already we can kill them for being boys. Soon we may be able to kill them for their eye color, or for being left-handed, or for having a birthmark.

In a progressive utopia, everything that is not mandatory is forbidden, so there may come to be laws demanding that certain undesirable features mark babies for death. Obama’s Science Czar John Holdren has already floated the idea of forced abortions.

Once you set off down an evil road, you can be sure to reach an evil destination.

I’ve read that in the US the preference is strongly for girls when the parents can choose the sex. I wonder what changed in our culture to make females preferable to males unlike most every other country (China and India spring to mind).

Not that there is anything wrong with wanted a daughter, I just wonder why the shift occurred.

Pro-Life means standing up for the rights of people to be allowed to be born and live their lives.

My God in Heaven! What has this country become? Since abortion became legal, we as a nation have slaughtered 55 million babies. And a majority of them were black.
