Police Officer Who Shot DEAD Young Minority Male – Gives Kaepernick PRICELESS Gift…

Chris Amos is a retired police officer. He is a father of three and after Colin Kaepernick’s disgraceful treatment of police officers and dissing of the National Anthem, he decided to write him a letter on Facebook. It went viral and with good reason. You see, Amos shot and killed a 19 year-old black male while he was on duty. He was put on paid leave for two months at $3000 a month… it was very tight trying to feed and provide for his family during that period.

When Kaepernick was referring to cops on paid leave and getting away with murder, he was referring to officers like Chris Amos. What Colin doesn’t get is they actually have a lot in common. Amos discusses getting out of rehab to go back to work on the streets. He compares Kaepernick’s bruises and broken bones, to his gunshot wounds to the thigh and chest. Whereas Colin gets blindsided in football, this officer got blindsided by thugs who shot him. Now that I think about… nah, they are nothing alike. One is a wannabe whining celebrity, the other is a hero.

Kaepernick

From Facebook:

An Open Letter to Colin Kaepernick,

Dear Colin guess you have been pretty busy these last few days. For the record I don’t think any more or less of you for not standing for the National Anthem. Honestly, I never thought that much about you, or any professional athlete for that matter, to begin with. I’ve read your statement a few times and want you to know I am one of the reasons you are protesting. You see I am a retired police officer that had the misfortune of having to shoot and kill a 19-year-old African American male. And just like you said, I was the recipient of about $3,000 a month while on leave which was a good thing because I had to support a wife and three children under 7-years-old for about 2 months with that money. Things were pretty tight because I couldn’t work part time. Every police officer I’ve ever known has worked part-time to help make ends meet.

You have to read this letter on Facebook. It’s a cold slap across Colin Kaepernick’s smug face. He slams the BLM football player over uniforms and hate. This officer who almost lost his life barely gets by on his salary, while Kaepernick has fame and millions. But Amos would not trade it at all… he loves the people he was entrusted with protecting… the hate in this comparison is all on Kaepernick’s side.

Amos has buried seven friends who have served. All brave officers. Three others have committed suicide. They all answered the call to serve and protect. They all gave their lives up for a cause bigger than themselves. What has Kaepernick done other than play a game, get wealthy and famous and then turn around and spew hate? He may lose his place on the team and his endorsements, but he won’t lose his life the way these officers did.

Chris Amos is a real hero and a man of character… something that Colin Kaepernick will never be.
