According to a Fox News report, eight minutes of a State Department press conference were erased from video on both the official State Department website and on YouTube in which spokeswoman Jen Psaki told reporters that they sometimes had to be misled on Iran for the country’s own good.
“There are times where diplomacy needs privacy in order to progress. This is a good example of that,” Psaki said in response to a question.
The White House claimed it had no idea how the eight minutes of material was deleted and vowed to restore it.
So much for all that transparency, huh? Maybe if the Iran deal wasn’t so horrible, then they wouldn’t need to lie and cover up the facts.
