Fox News Will be the Most Watched Network Tonight

Yep… Fox News, the most trusted name in news. No really, read this. The network that pushes the most opposition to the current president always gets a ratings bump. MSNBC actually did respectable ratings when George W. Bush was hated by most of the country. Which is funny, when you think about it. MSNBC pushed so hard to get Obama elected, that they forgot what all that partisanship would do to their ratings. I wouldn’t say MSNBC’s ratings sank quite like the titanic (which we would later find… was caused by a giant blue monster, known as Avatar). MSNBC’s tale has been more like the Speedwell, one of the ships the Pilgrims set out on… that was sabotaged by its own crew.

Tonight is the day where President Obama will comment on th State of the Union, which happens to be very bleak. Blaming Bush will no longer be accepted by the majority of Americans, which is why Fox News will be the highest rated cable network tonight. This fact alone, is a key indication to what Americans think of the State of the Union. When Bush left office, the majority of Americans only cared about the value of their portfolios. Now, after those portfolios have been sold, the same people are just trying to find a job. Americans know that the majority of the “created” jobs, have been either fake or absolutely no benefit to them.

Jump starting the economy is needed. Rasmussen Reports released poll results today that stated 59% of Americans say cut taxes to spur the economy, only 14% believe congress will listen. Who are those 14% and why are then insane? The President needs to stop penalizing people and corporations with taxes, and allow the economy to heal itself. Anything is better than congress, at this point.
