GOP Senator James Inhofe On Benghazi: “We May Be Starting To Use The I-Word Before Too Long.”

I have to admit that I’ve been very skeptical that the Republicans in the Senate would seriously consider impeaching Obama. Honestly, I’m still skeptical because other than a few standouts like Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Mike Lee, Pat Toomey, Jeff Sessions and a handful of others, these are timid, weak men who’ve never shown a lot of political courage.

Inhofe

Still, when you have a man like James Inhofe, the top-ranking Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee, who starts talking impeachment, it makes your ears perk up.

Sen. James Inhofe (R-Okla.) said in a radio interview Thursday that “of all the great cover-ups in history” – including the Pentagon papers, Iran-Contra and Watergate – Benghazi “is going to go down as the most serious, most egregious coverup in American history.”

“We may be starting to use the I-word before too long,” Inhofe said on the Las Vegas-based “Rusty Humphries Show.”

“The I-word meaning impeachment?” Humphries asked.

“Yeah,” Inhofe confirmed.

When Humphries questioned the likelihood of impeachment, Inhofe said it wouldn’t be immediate.

“I’m not talking about it now, this is something that could endure until after the ’14 election – this is not a short story, this is something that was re-discovered after eight months…this is clearly an orchestrated coverup,” he said.

Susan Rice, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama all knowingly lied to the American people about people who died because of the incompetence and indifference of the Obama Administration. They didn’t lie because of national security either; they lied for purely political purposes and there’s a scapegoat sitting in jail today because the Obama Administration blamed him for the people they got killed.

This is not good governance, competent governance or honest governance, but Obama gets away with it because he’s a Democrat? Are there any standards at all that apply to this man? Is he above the law or is he not? I guess we’ll see soon.
