Obama Says Hotcoldwetdry One Of The Top 3 Issues He’ll Blow Off In 2nd Term
Well, he didn’t quite say that, but if he’s focusing on it like the economy, little will get done
(The Hill) President Obama has identified climate change as one of his top three priorities in his second term after coming under fire from environmentalists for giving the issue short shrift during the campaign.
The president, in an interview for TIME’s Person of the Year award, said the economy, immigration, climate change and energy would be at the top of his agenda for the next four years.
What we saw during Obama’s first term was a laser like focus on the economy for a few days after a speech, then he’d forget about it for months and months as things like golf, parties, vacations, and campaigning became his top priorities. Then a speech about a laser like focus for a few days. Lather, rinse, repeat. So, he’s specifically telling us what three issues he’ll mostly blow off over the next 4 years.
And he has got to know that he’ll never get the votes in the GOP controlled House, and even some Democrat Senators aren’t on board with artificially jacking up the cost of living for Americans through “climate change” legislation.
In that press conference, Obama touted executive actions designed to curb emissions, such as finalizing new vehicle fuel efficiency standards and rolling out the first-ever air pollution limits for new coal-fired power plants.
So, more legislation by kingly decree. Still, don’t expect a whole bunch out of Obama in his attempt to make the weather nicer. Perhaps he could tell us what the optimal temperature should be. Oh, and give up his own big “carbon” lifestyle.

Who would have guessed that liberal Democrat Barack Obama would end up being one of the biggest warmongering presidents in
Democrat Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee from Texas thinks it is the job of Congress to write a President’s Executive Orders.
That’s right. As Tim Blair reports, Danny Glover claims that the failure to act on “climate change†in Copenhagen is what caused the earthquake in Haiti. Gaia is vengeful! Repent, you Global Warming Deniers! Since all Christians are held responsible for what Pat Robertson says, then I assume that all whom believe in Global Warming ™ are responsible for what Glover says, yes? Since they are both religions and all.
