Obama Speaks At UN, Whines About Video And Stuff

by William Teach | September 25, 2012 11:24 am

I thought about just adding on to the previous post, but, let’s give the Apology Tour a stand alone. From what I heard (I only listened to about 10 minutes, I didn’t hear the Iran talk), it was a rambling, incoherent, and contradictory mess. Much like his foreign policy itself. And, the apologies and denigration of Free Speech continue (page 3 of the Washington Post transcript[1])

…And that is what we saw play out in the last two weeks, where a crude and disgusting video sparked outrage throughout the Muslim world. Now, I have made it clear that the United States government had nothing to do with this video, and I believe its message must be rejected by all who respect our common humanity. It is an insult not only to Muslims, but to America as well.

Free speech is now an insult in Obama’s America and must be rejected.

We were also treated to this whine

President Obama: “I accept that people are going to call me awful things every day & I will always defend their right to do so” #UNGA[2]

— White House Live (@WHLive) September 25, 2012[3]

And, there’s this

RT: @jedediahbila[4]: I heard the word “video” from Obama more than I heard the word “terrorist.”

— DrewM (@DrewMTips) September 25, 2012[5]

Pretty much.

President Obama: “The future must not belong to those who bully women — it must be shaped by girls who go to school” #UNGA[2]

— White House Live (@WHLive) September 25, 2012[6]

Yet, he’s defending Islamists who treat women like property.

“The future must not be determined by those who insult the prophet of Islam.” – Unnamed Zealot

And said zealot? (via Twitchy[8])

The future must not belong to those who slander the prophet of Islam. Yet to be credible, those who condemn that slander must also condemn the hate we see when the image of Jesus Christ is desecrated, churches are destroyed, or the Holocaust is denied. Let us condemn incitement against Sufi Muslims, and Shiite pilgrims. It is time to heed the words of Gandhi: “Intolerance is itself a form of violence and an obstacle to the growth of a true democratic spirit.” Together, we must work towards a world where we are strengthened by our differences, and not defined by them. That is what America embodies, and that is the vision we will support.

So much for your 1st Amendment rights.
