Are You Ready? Here Comes Obama- He’s Not Going Anywhere For A Long Time [VIDEO]

Just when I was gaining confidence that I would never have to write another article about Obama again, he comes swooping back into the public eye.

The only way I could be any less happy about this was if he kicked a kitten on his way to his speech.

I am really sick of having to hear about this guy.

Former President Barack Obama is scheduled to speak at a town hall event at the University of Chicago on Monday. It is located near the place where his Presidential library is supposed to be.

“This event is part of President Obama’s post-presidency goal to encourage and support the next generation of leaders driven by strengthening communities around the country and the world,” said his office in a statement.

This is just the first of many speaking events the former President has planned that will take place over the next few months. In May, he will be receiving the Profile in Courage Award in Boston at the John F. Kennedy Library. Why, I’m not entirely sure. It could just be me, but I didn’t see him do one courageous thing as President, or even the years leading up to his Presidential run.

In late May, he is slated to make several unpaid speeches around Europe. In fact, May 27th will see him speaking at the famous Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, accompanied by Chancellor Angela Merkel.

For the most part, Obama has not gotten back into the political process after his term was over, with the exception of coming out in support of the anti-Trump protests. It is unclear whether this little tour is going to be a lead up to more events in the United States with a political focus. We’ll just have to wait and see.

I for one would like this to be his farewell tour, but much like a strange rash or a bad penny, something tells me he’ll be following us around for a while.
