Shirley Sherrod Goes Under Obama’s Bus

One more take on the Shirley Sherrod story — because this outrage is too emblematic of the Obama Regime to let his media pals stuff it down the Memory Hole:

Now that we have a “post-racial” presidency, the word racism is getting such heavy use that it is literally wearing out, so that people are forgetting what it means. But it still does have a meaning, representing a poison that is twisting our country against itself and eating away at the crucial concept of equality before the law. For a reminder of what racism really is, readers are referred to the rabidly racist NAACP — or for an even scarier example, the Obama Administration.

Here Department of Agriculture’s Georgia Director of Rural Development Shirley Sherrod describes to a delighted NAACP audience how she stuck it to Whitey:

He had to come to me for help. What he didn’t know while he was taking all that time trying to show me he was superior to me was I was trying to decide just how much help I was going to give him. I was struggling with the fact that so many black people have lost their farmland and here I was faced with having to help a white person save their land — so I didn’t give him the full force of what I could do.

Having been caught on video admitting to punishing a random white guy for her own ethnic inferiority complex, Sherrod has joined the crowd under Obama’s bus. But there’s no reason she should have been forced to resign. Her attitude is what white liberals voted to have inflicted on their less affluent fellow Caucasians, so as to purify them of their imaginary sins against political correctness. What other attitude could you expect from the Administration of an openly racist radical leftist who made remarks like these in a book that could be found on most liberals’ coffee tables:

That hate hadn’t gone away … white people — some cruel, some ignorant, sometimes a single face, sometimes just a faceless image of a system claiming power over our lives.

There were enough of us on campus to constitute a tribe, and when it came to hanging out, many of us chose to function like a tribe, staying close together, traveling in packs … It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.

I found solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother’s race.

A few more glimpses into our “post-racial” president’s attitudes toward the white race that he is fixing but good by systematically destroying America:

Obama sat for 20 years in a church based on hatred of Caucasians. Not even liberals could be clueless enough not to have expected the mammoth federal bureaucracy soon to be clotted with the likes of Shirley Sherrod. Caucasians are now second-class citizens in this country, as the Justice Department has confirmed.

Next stop, Zimbabwe.
