‘Black Lives Matter’ Thug Shoots Sheriff’s Sergeant in the Face… Please Pray [VIDEO]

Where are the protests over this? A police officer in Los Angeles County was shot in the face by a Black Lives Matter thug. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it. The officer died at a nearby hospital. It was a robbery call that went very, very wrong. Black Lives Matter of course has not taken credit for this, but it’s a pretty sure bet this guy was among their number.

After fleeing, the suspect stole a sheriff’s vehicle and then rammed it into another police cruiser. Officers fired on the thug and hit him at least once. He still got away. At approximately 2 pm, the gunman broke into someone’s home and took two teenage hostages – one of the hostages texted the police, who came running. Police officers ran into the home and the dirt bag ran out the back. He tried to climb a fence, failed and was cornered. He then surrendered to police.

From Freedom Daily:

A Los Angeles County sheriff’s sergeant was responding to a home invasion robbery call when he was shot in the face by a BLM thug.

The officer was rushed to a nearby hospital in a sheriff’s cruiser but did not survive his injury.

Sergeant Steve Owen, a 29-year veteran of the force, was shot when he encountered the suspect at the scene of the crime in Lancaster, CA.

Gunshots were reported to police at around 12:30 p.m. A massive manhunt for the shooter ensued.

As deputies were closing in, the suspect stole a sheriff’s vehicle and rammed it into a police cruiser. The deputies opened fire on the subject hitting him at least once, but he still escaped.

The mayor said that over 100 deputies raced to the hospital where Sergeant Owen was taken when they heard the news that he had been shot. Sergeant Owen received the department’s Medal of Valor in 2014, the highest honor bestowed on officers. He will be sorely missed and it should never have come to this. But this is what these officers face every single day now. Owen’s wife works with the department’s Arson Explosive Unit. She is devastated. Owen was 53.

A sheriff’s deputy was also injured. They aren’t sure how yet, but he will be fine.

The suspect is a 27 year-old resident of Antelope Valley and is on active parole. A weapon was recovered, though authorities did not give a description.

Late Wednesday, dozens of deputies and local police stood in full uniform as Owen’s body was taken from the hospital on a flag-draped gurney. Family members and fellow officers followed, many of them sobbing openly. A motorcade led by sheriff’s deputies and the California Highway Patrol escorted the coroner’s van from Lancaster to the morgue near downtown Los Angeles. Along the 14 Freeway into the San Fernando Valley, law enforcement cars stopped on overpasses and flashed sirens to honor Owen. Before the procession, Owen’s body was placed in a hospital conference room where his wife, children and fellow deputies could pay their respects, according to a hospital spokeswoman.

Owen’s slaying marked the first fatal shooting of an on-duty law enforcement officer in L.A. County since Downey police Officer Ricardo Galvez was gunned down the night of Nov. 18, 2015. Galvez, 29, was shot while sitting in his car outside his police department’s headquarters.
