    1. Thomas Sowell – Strongly like: 79.4%
    2. Allen West – Strongly like: 76.9%

    Quiz – who said what:

    A. “I totally invalidate everything about social welfare policies … embraces conservatives’ values of reliance on the individual and not the federal government.”

    B. “The people made worse off by slavery were those who were enslaved. Their descendants would have been worse off today if born in Africa instead of America. Put differently, the terrible fate of their ancestors benefitted them.”

Thanks Mr Walker good job as Governor. Don’t worry about being the governor anymore though. President will be more to your liking. I’m sure Ann Coulter will forgive you for being a little slow also. Watch out for the purple shirted SEIU thugs. I think one of the guys climbing through the windows of the capitol was the guy that tried to kill Ken Gladney. I wonder if Obama was telling ugly Andy Stern to talk to the new SEIU president to do that in return for making him rich at SIGA now.

Please Check out song called teapartiers I can’t hear you at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cJfboOindCo

    Here’s a verse

Doctors are retiring earlier but we’re getting 17000 new IRS
This is how Obama creates health care jobs I guess
For 234 years this country’s been God’s blessing.
Now he’s following Cloward and Piven’s to bankrupt the country I’m guessing
If Obamacare gives Grandma and Grandpa a scare
Think how when their rationed and die earlier we’ll save on healthcare

Hey guys if you fought at Iwo or the Chosen
when they stop giving your wife her meds and her last breath comes over her face
you’ll find comfort knowing Nancy’d gladly take her place.

Alright, I have to question the conservative credentials of some of these respondents,Mr. Hawkins… 5 dislikes and 1 strongly dislike against the NRA? 2 dislike the Tea Party? One of them even dislikes Dr. Sowell. Who the heck ARE you people, and HOW did you get invited to vote in this poll?!

I shook my head and said the exact same thing when I read through it.

I know right? I mean, what conserative doesn’t like Dr. Thomas Sowell? The man is a genius, or better yet, an icon, IMhO.
And other than hardcore establishment Republicans (aka Dem-lites), who on the right doesn’t like the Tea Party? I find these anomolies in the voting quite baffling.

That’s what prompted me to make the quiz below.
I can not see how a; conservative, libertarian (small L), investor, or a tea party person can not respect/like Sowell.

I’m just as baffled as you are.

    • http://www.conservative-compendium.com Brian Garst

I can’t fathom a dislike for Thomas Sowell, though the NRA I can understand (though I wasn’t among them). The NRA endorsed Harry Reid, and I’ve heard a lot of trouble things around town from their board. And I didn’t care for the way they thrust themselves into the McDonald v. Chicago gun case, and undercut Gura, who was trying to overturn the Sluaghterhouse cases.

      • Anonymous

Okay, that makes the NRA answer a little more understandable. I’ll admit that I was unaware of the Reid endorsement; very disappointing. Thank you for the response, sir.

        • http://www.conservative-compendium.com Brian Garst

I should clarify as I made a mistake, and apparently the NRA ultimately decided not to endorse Reid over Angle (they’ve supported him in the past) after it caused an uproar, though LaPierre did personally endorse him. I think there’s still some lingering distrust over that, though.

People were also pissed off with the deal they cut to throw the first amendment under the bus on the Disclose Act after they cut a special deal to get a personal exemption.

Only 2 dislike the TPers, a group of borderline sane folks who’ve only on very rare occasions shown any ability to think. Instead, they wave signs, throw tantrums at public meetings, and lie and smear. (In fact, simply by saying that, expect them to lie and smear about me, whether without having visited my site first, or whether knowing about my site and simply lying. That’s who they are and what they do.)

Meantime, RonPaul is disliked by almost 2/3. I disagree w/ him on several issues, but at least he’s occasionally strong on sovereignty related issues and he’s occasionally willing to discomfort the powerful (even if he wimped out on immig. during his last run).

And, Pitchfork Pat is disliked by over 70%, despite his being right on the money on immig. and sovereignty related issues.

Meanwhile, this idiot is one of their favorites:

    24ahead.com/s/glenn-reynolds

P.S. As stated above, because I accurately described the TPers, expect them to lie and to smear. TPers aren’t credible, so check out my site (it’s very easy to navigate) and see what I’ve been covering since 2002. Then, compare it to what those listed above cover and how they do things. Remember: TPers are allergic to the truth, so don’t trust their lies and smears.

“Instead, they wave signs, throw tantrums at public meetings, and lie and smear.”

So they act like civil versions of union members and Democrats – yet you do not vilify the Dems or the union members – interesting.

      Flagged for being retarded.

      • http://24Ahead.com 24AheadDotCom

        1. Why are rightwingers acting just like the far-left? About the only difference between ANSWER marches and teaparties aside from the ideology is that the former has papier mache figurines and hotter women. Playing little dress-up games like little girls (TomPaine, tricorner hats, etc.) is about as far away from WFB-style debates as you can get.

As for the civility, here’s a recent example of TPers lying and smearing me:

        twitpic.com/47jgb5

I told them right in my first comment that any lies and smears would be publicly held against them, and they went ahead and lied and smeared any way. They’re fundamentally very dumb and emotionally unbalanced people.

        2. Note that “Spikey1″ finishes on a tiny lil’ fascist note, flagging me despite there being nothing wrong with my comment.

They are act very civil compared to the Dems and union members – is reading new to you?

Yet you do not address that issue.

I have no idea who you are, but I looked at your site and 90% of it seems to be bashing the Tea Party, mostly for reasons I think are misguided, but with some valid points mished in.

But for all the complaining you do about how the Tea Party chooses to try and reach it’s goals, you don’t seem to be doing much to reach your goals, and are spending far more time maligning people who have just achieved significant electoral impact and are continuing to impact legislation today. You spend so much time bashing Tea Partiers on your site, I could hardly find what issues you even care about.

That said, I do like your idea of asking legitimate hard questions of politicians and getting them out on youtube. I would like to see more of that.

A poll comparing actual famous politicians and bloggers no one has ever heard of. How utterly pointless. Can I have the 5 minutes it took to read this back, please?

I applaud my blogging peers in agreeing that Ron Paul is the least popular 2012 potential presidential candidate.
