Beyonce’s New Fashion Line Made by Sweatshop Labor at 60 Cents an Hour [VIDEO]

I have learned to despise Beyonce. She is a racist thug, who is primarily into herself and money. She hates the police with a passion and equally loves thugs like the Black Panthers and Malcolm X. Beyonce just released a new clothing line. As the fans and sycophants stampede to buy her brand, Ivy Park, they might want to contemplate who made that clothing. Sweat shops in Sri Lanka where women who are slaves are making her clothing line for 60 cents an hour. All so Beyonce can make more profit as she sells items made by young women housed in boarding houses and who work 60 hours a week. She talks about slavery and racism when she is using slaves herself. What a hypocrite.

From The Sun:

BEYONCE’S new high street sportswear range for Topshop is made using sweat shop labour earning just £4.30 a day, we can reveal.

[…]

Beyonce says she wants her Ivy Park gym gear to support and inspire women — while Topshop claims it “empowers women through sport”.

But poverty-stricken seamstresses making some of the clothes in the MAS Holdings factory in Sri Lanka earn just £4.30 a day.

It would cost them more than a month’s wages to buy a pair of Beyonce’s £100 leggings.

The workers, mostly young women from poor rural villages, can only afford to live in boarding houses and work more than 60 hours a week to make ends meet.

Most are reluctant to speak out for fear of losing their jobs.

Campaigners insist the women are being exploited and treated like slaves.

One machinist told The Sun on Sunday: “When they talk about women and empowerment this is just for the foreigners. They want the foreigners to think everything is OK.” Beyonce previewed last month’s launch at Topshop’s flagship Oxford Street store in London with a sizzling video on YouTube. Nordstrom is promoting her line of clothing. She said: “My goal with Ivy Park is to push the boundaries of athletic wear and to support and inspire women who understand that beauty is more than your physical appearance. True beauty is in the health of our minds, hearts and bodies. I know that when I feel physically strong, I am mentally strong and I wanted to create a brand that made other women feel the same way.” Obama says Beyonce rules the world… no she doesn’t, but she certainly benefits from slave labor. Her and her husband Jay Z are worth $760 million and she uses sweatshop labor to get ever wealthier. Beyonce, meanwhile, is busy promoting her new album Lemonade with a series of sell-out gigs. The album features a track called Freedom about black emancipation. But who will free Beyonce’s slaves? It’s funny how she does one thing and lives another.
