Jay-Z Admits He Cheated On Beyonce, Prompts Monica Lewinsky To Get Involved [VIDEO]

Boy, Monica Lewinsky[1] can pick em. She praised Jay-Z for being honest about cheating on Beyonce in his latest album. In my book, that’s not praise-worthy. First Beyonce sings about him cheating on her in her album and now he sings an apology in his. It’s probably true, but it could also be for promotional reasons. Who knows. These people are not exactly paragons of virtue and their credibility leaves a lot to be desired. That includes Lewinsky.

She’s praising the rap artist because he was being honest about the affair. But he shouldn’t have done it in the first place. Committing adultery and hurting your wife this way doesn’t get smoothed over with an apology and a song. And frankly, for Monica Lewinsky to insert herself in a controversy like this between a husband and a wife is vulgar in the extreme. She doesn’t know these people or what she is talking about, yet she goes public with it. Probably because it gets her attention. SMH.

From Western Journalism:

Monica Lewinsky praised rap artist Jay-Z for being open about his marital infidelity to wife Beyoncé Knowles-Carter in his latest album 4:44.

“Jay-Z had a choice,” Lewinsky wrote in an article for Vanity Fair[3]. “Having been called out publicly by his wife in her fierce 2016 album and video, Lemonade, Jay-Z knew that his fans wouldn’t have blinked if his next album skimmed past the allegations. That’s not uncommon for men to do.”

Lewinsky had an affair with then President Bill Clinton in the 1990s, which he at first denied.

Beyoncé included numerous lyrics in the album Lemonade[4], released in the spring of 2016, which strongly suggested that Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, cheated on her.

In Hold Up, the Grammy Award winner sings, “Something don’t feel right because it ain’t right, especially coming up after midnight; I smell your secrets and I’m not too perfect to ever feel this worthless; How did it come down to this, going through your call list?”

“This is your final warning; You know I give you life; If you try this s–t again you gon’ lose your wife,” Beyonce intoned in Don’t Hurt Yourself.

Jay-Z for his part blames it on being immature. He’s 45 and she’s 35. Man, you are way too old to use that excuse. “Look, I apologize, often womanize,” he raps. “Took for my child to be born, see through a woman’s eyes; Took for these natural twins to believe in miracles; Took me too long for this song.” And there’s more: “That was my proposal for us to go steady; That was your 21st birthday, you mature faster than me; I wasn’t ready, so I apologize; I’ve seen the innocence leave your eyes,” Jay-Z sings. “What good is a ménage à trois when you have a soulmate? … My heart breaks for the day I had to explain my mistakes.”

Lewinsky unbelievably praised Jay-Z’s ‘transparency’: “(I)t’s not as if we hadn’t seen Beyoncé and Jay-Z out in the world together since then — not to mention, welcoming their twins to planet Earth. Jay-Z could have ignored it all. But, instead, he chose a path of candor.” What about respect for his wife and his children? Instead, all of this is in the open and brings shame on all of them.

Lewinsky went on to discuss Brad Pitt’s infidelity and break-up with Angelina Jolie. Sounds like she’s obsessed with infidelity if you ask me. Then she discussed Prince Harry and vulnerable males. Gag me. I guess Lewinsky feels she’s somewhat of an expert on infidelity after her affair with Bill Clinton. But I don’t remember her being ‘transparent’ then either.
