Liberal Singer Demands We House Refugees – Gets NASTY Dose Of Karma

I really don’t know a lot about liberal singer and activist Lily Allen. I guess she’s British. After visiting the Calais Jungle last year, she got all teary and said that Brits needed to open their homes to Muslim refugees. She brought a refugee family into her sumptuous apartment and now she’s getting a nasty dose of karmic reality dumped on her head. The unabashedly socialist celebrity wanted to move back to her lavish pad and wanted the refugees to move out. They claimed diplomatic immunity and now she can’t move back into her home. How’s that socialism hangin’ for ya babe?

Allen and her 2 children are evidently now homeless for the Christmas season because her immigrant guests have refused to leave and much to Allen’s horror, she can’t evict them. She took to Twitter over it and the backlash was epic. She was originally accused of profiteering by renting out her apartment to wealthy foreigners. Then she let the refugees move in. Allen’s tweet sparked a flurry of angry responses from fans, with many branding her a ‘champagne socialist’. Others started using the sarcastic hashtag ‘PrayForLily’ to poke fun at the star. There’s a whole lack of sympathy out there for Allen it would seem.

Paul Watson commented: “Why do you have paying tenants in your flat, Lily, when you could be housing Syrian refugees?” Eleanor Black wrote: “Welcome to the real world. One major difference, you’ve plenty money – go buy another house.” Allen’s problem is that she lectured everyone in the west for not taking in these refugees. Now that it has bitten her in the butt, she’s singing a different tune. Another user said: “Just sing outside their front door, that’ll get them shifted in under an hour.” Harsh.

In a blatantly sarcastic reference to the Live Aid fundraising concert, one commenter snarked: “Bit of a crazy request, but has anyone got Bob Geldof’s number? I think we need to organise a concert to buy Lily Allen a £4million property this Christmas. She’s homeless and in need.” The singer later tweeted and then deleted that “private equity managers, tax experts and hedge funders been looking” at her situation. What’s a wealthy socialist to do? Well, for one, you could stop spouting off about things you know nothing about and live in the real world the way the rest of us do.

Lily should look on the bright side… at least she didn’t get raped or beheaded. And bonus… when they finally do leave, she’ll get to totally redecorate because I’m sure they’ve destroyed her flat. What an imbecile. This is where social justice leads… right into the crapper. After she cried for displaced children in Afghanistan, critics also accused her of trying to boost her flagging career, with a former British commander who served in Afghanistan saying: “She clearly does not have any understanding of the situation.” That is the understatement of the century.

Background… Lily has two daughters, Marnie and Ethel. She was educated at private schools including Hill House in Knightsbridge, which counts Prince Charles among its alumni. She married builder Sam Cooper, the father of her children, in 2011, but they went their separate ways in 2015. Lily has since been linked to grime DJ Daniel London, with the couple being pictured around London and on holiday in Ibiza together. It’s tough to feel sorry for a struggling socialite like this.

Under the Diplomatic Privileges Act 1964, diplomats are entitled to immunity from the civil and administrative jurisdiction of the British courts, except in certain circumstances. David Fleming of property legal specialists William Heath & Co, has previously explained he would always advise a client to be ‘very wary’ of letting a property to a diplomat. This is a hard lesson learned for a self-righteous socialist. Sucks to be her.
