Singer John Legend Accidentally Admits Obamacare FAILS In Attempt To Insult Trump – America Responds

John Legend should stick to singing instead of politics. At least he’s good at that. He stepped in it on Twitter while trying to criticize President Trump on the failure of repeal and replace on Obamacare. Unfortunately, his aim sucks and what he actually wound up doing was admitting that Obamacare kills people. Way to go, John. We couldn’t agree more.

I’m sure what Legend was trying to say was that Trump was killing people because he was messing with Obamacare. What he actually said was that Trump was killing ‘more’ people. Words matter and that one was a doozy. It didn’t take long for someone to catch the faux pas either. But you know Twitter… there’s always someone who catches stuff like that and is more than willing to slap you with it.

Song writer and crooner John Legend went political on Twitter this week and, as the saying goes, was hoisted with his own petard.

Legend jumped ugly on President Donald Trump’s response to the U.S. Senate’s failure to repeal and replace Obamacare:

As I have always said, let ObamaCare fail and then come together and do a great healthcare plan. Stay tuned!

The president threatened to let the failing health care program continue to collapse, a sentiment he reversed following his meeting with GOP senators.

But like the famous scene in “The Hunt for Red October,” Legend damned his rhetorical torpedoes and went in hot:

Nastiness aside, things got humorous when people saw he was aiming his missile at the wrong target. Oops.

Obamacare is imploding. The Republicans have to come to an agreement or a lot of people are going to get hurt even more than they already are. Some of their premiums have gone up 140 percent. Some people are paying $1500 a month for health insurance and they have a $6500 deductible. That’s insane. Less people now have health coverage than before Obama ‘fixed’ things. And Legend has the nerve to lob accusations at Trump? His guy did this and he owns it.

At least Trump is speaking for the common man. Barack Obama never did. But Legend is an elitist stuck in his own little Hollywood bubble. It’s pathetic. Obama doesn’t need help with embarrassment… he just is one. And Legend cares more about race than he does the millions being screwed over healthcare. Repeal the whole damn thing and DON’T replace it. Let the free market take its course and stop dicking with something that should have been left alone in the first place. Legend can get stuffed.
