Thousands Sign Petition To Deport Canadian Jim Carrey After Asinine Gun Comments
The only thing that’s bombing worse than Jim Carrey’s new movie, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, is the Canadian comedian’s foray into gun control. After calling gun owners “Heartless Motherf&ckers,” Carrey made a tired video that mocked Charlton Heston, who died in 2008. None of that sat particularly well with the gun owning public, but Carrey came across as completely ridiculous when he admitted that he had an armed bodyguard.
While some of Carrey’s fans are obviously retaliating by avoiding his new movie in droves and one of his ex-devotees is even selling an autographed picture of his former idol to raise money to buy a Glock, some other Americans are trying a different tactic.
More than 2800 Americans have signed the following Change.org petition.

Stop attacking American 2nd Amendment and move back to Canada.
Will the Obama Administration deport Jim Carrey if there are enough signatures? No, because Carrey actually has dual-citizenship. Still, if we could have managed to deport Carrey, then David Frum, Morley Safer and Celine Dion would have had to look because they’d have been next!
