VIDEO: What Clint Eastwood Just Said About ‘American Sniper’ Has Set the Web Buzzing

Clint Eastwood is one of the bigger defenders of “American Sniper”, and being that he’s the director, he should be. Or is he? A recent exchange with the paparazzi has a lot of people wondering what exactly he meant.

As Western Journalism has reported, lefty filmmaker and progressive provocateur Michael Moore has led the charge against the movie and its subject, ex Navy SEAL Chris Kyle. But others in Hollywood and elsewhere have suggested that Kyle was a “racist” or even, as Bill Maher said, a “psychopath.”

Now, the director of “American Sniper,” Hollywood legend Clint Eastwood, has set the web buzzing after giving a two-word response to a member of the paparazzi swarming outside a West Hollywood restaurant.

What exactly did Eastwood mean when he answered the shouted question, “What do you think of Michael Moore and Bill Maher’s criticism of ‘American Sniper’?”

Eastwood’s reply was either “They’re right,” or “Their right.” Either he meant the criticism is valid or the two men had a right to express their opinions.

We can only hope he meant that it’s “their right” to express their opinions, and not that he thinks that “they’re right”. It would be beyond disappointing if he was actually agreeing with those low-life, worthless good-for-nothings about an American hero like Chris Kyle.
