Full House Actress Takes Stand For Religious Freedom & Constitution On The View [Video]

Heh. Did you hear the gasp when Candace dared to say this was a Constitutional rights issue, not a civil rights issue? Symone nearly came unglued and looked like she wanted to take Candace apart by the end of the show. Of course it is somewhat hard to tell because you are distracted by the heinous hairdo, but nevertheless, that cat had her claws out. Candace is right and expressed her opinion eloquently. Symone, in typical Leftist moonbat style, couldn’t logically counter, so she tried to shut Candace up. Color me not surprised. Because in her world, sexual preference trumps actual First Amendment rights. Liberal fascist moron in action.

From BuzzPo:

Candace Cameron Bure, famous for her role as D.J. Tanner on the popular sitcom Full House, made her opinions on religious freedom and personal liberty perfectly clear when she clashed with The View co-host Raven-Symone on the show’s July 7 episode.

As a conservative Christian, Bure couldn’t help but clash with Symone who likened an Oregon baker’s decision to refuse to make a wedding cake for a lesbian couple to pre-Civil Rights Act segregation.

“The Oregon law bars businesses from discriminating against sexual orientation, race, disability, age or religion,” Symone stated, “and to me, it’s the same exaxt thing that they did back in the day saying that black people couldn’t do certain things because it’s my ‘religious belief.’”

Bure quickly and soundly shut her down:

“I don’t think this is about discrimination at all. This is about freedom of association. It’s about constitutional rights. It’s about First Amendment rights. We do have the right to still choose who we associate with.”

“[The bakery] didn’t refuse to bake the cake because of [the couple’s] sexual orientation,” Bure continued. “In fact, they baked cakes for them previously. They had a problem with the actual ceremony because that — the ceremony — is what conflicted with their religious beliefs. They are saying that they stand for marriage between a man and a woman.”

Symone’s response? Typical of a liberal, she had nothing intelligent to say so she tried to shut it down and cut her off. “I refuse to associate with you right now.”

You should not be forced to do something that violates your religious and free speech rights – period. That’s not discrimination. It is standing up for your beliefs guaranteed by the First Amendment. The Left would love to rewrite or do away with the Constitution, but it still stands. No matter what the majority on the Supreme Court says, you can’t take the Fourteenth Amendment, bludgeon the Tenth Amendment and nullify the First Amendment. A clash of Constitutional rights has now been set in play and revolutions have been fought over less. Sexual preference was never guaranteed under the Constitution, but freedom of religion and association was. Now, Christians are being persecuted for their beliefs here in the US. Civil disobedience will ensue, which is about two steps down from a full revolution. The growing hatred of Christians in this country is terrifying – this country was built on Christian principles and everything that is strong and good about America is based on morality and religious beliefs. Under a Marxist government and a tyrannical minority, Christianity is being forcefully villanized and stripped away. Christians will simply not comply no matter what you do to us.
