Climate Change (Hoax) Could ‘Disrupt Wi-Fi And Power Supplies’

All because someone, probably the Scottish Skeptic, drove an SUV instead of walking 20 miles to work, causing the climate to do something and something else while doing another, therefore making it hot cold wet dry snowy icy, and now

Climate change ‘could disrupt wi-fi and hit power supply’

Climate change will disrupt wi-fi connections, cause regular power failures and lead railway lines to buckle unless Britain spends billions of pounds, Caroline Spelman, the Environment Secretary has warned.

Well, yeah, did you see how bad the last few winters were in England? All that snow and ice causing the wind turbines to refuse to turn, the cold forcing the coal fired power plants to use up their CO2 output permits up at record levels, and, I guess causing earthquakes that mess up the rail lines. Of course, that’s not what the UK Telegraph’s resident climate moonbat, Louise Gray, is referring to. Cold weather has disappeared from her alarmist conscience

Already the transport sector is preparing for temperatures above 104F (40C) this summer, which could lead to breakdowns on the railways.

Speaking at Blackfriars Station in London, which Network Rail is currently fitting with solar panels and rainwater harvesting systems in order to be more resilient against power cuts, Ms Spelman said the UK is already investing :£200 billion over the next five years.

But that will not be enough to stop economic impacts of climate change if it is invested in the wrong areas.

She warned of intense rainfall, droughts and heatwaves in the next 50 to 100 years because of man-made global warming. The signal from wi-fi cannot travel as far when temperatures increase. Heavy downfalls of rain also affect the ability of the device to capture a signal.

See? Globull warming causes everything! And, how far does a Wi-Fi signal really need to travel? Don’t know about Ms Spelman, but, mine is used inside, where any heat and rain doesn’t affect it. Perhaps if she would stop trying to steal her neighbors bandwith….

I wonder how they deal with Wi-Fi in places like Arizona, Nevada, Washington state, India, and other places that are already hot or rainy? It works just fine, you say? This is simply more unhinged alarmist talking points designed to scare Other People into Doing Something, while the alarmists “spread awareness” and do nothing themselves? Who knew?
