Does New Jersey Really Want to Re-Elect “Jersey Shore” Sen. Menendez?

It’s easy to imagine how embarrassing a show like: Jersey Shore: must be: to the average resident of New Jersey. There are undoubtedly tens of millions: of Americans whose image of the state has been formed by a reality TV show: that portrays people who live in Jersey as trashy, herpes-infested skanks and: braindead layabouts who don’t have anything on their minds other than getting a: tan and doing laundry. It’s certainly not a flattering image.

…Which makes you wonder: Do the: citizens of New Jersey really want to re-elect a: Jersey: Shore: senator who parties with prostitutes?[1]

Two women from the Dominican Republic told The Daily Caller that: Democratic New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez paid them for sex earlier this year.

In interviews, the two women said they met Menendez around Easter at Casa: de Campo, an expensive 7,000 acre resort in the Dominican Republic. They: claimed Menendez agreed to pay them $500 for sex acts, but in the end they each: received only $100.

…When shown a photograph of Sen. Menendez, the women said they recognized: him as the man with whom they’d had sexual relations at Casa de Campo this: spring. Both said they were brought to the resort with the understanding they: would be paid for sex.

Neither knew the identity of the man at the time. Both claimed to recognize him: later as Sen. Menendez.

…It is known that Sen. Menendez has been a regular visitor to the Dominican: Republic. On at least one occasion, according to a news account, Menendez has: been a guest at the Casa de Campo home of a friend and campaign donor named: Salomon Melgen, an ophthalmologist and owner of an eye clinic in Florida.

So, not only was Robert Menendez having sex with prostitutes, he was doing it on: Easter week-end and he was dumb enough not to pay them everything they were: owed, which was bound to make them want to get back at him. Come on, New: Jersey, why not just go all the way at this point and choose Snooki or the “The: Situation” as your senator?

PS:: Of course, there is an alternative: Republican: Joe Kyrillos[2].: Granted, New Jersey is a left-leaning state, but at least Kyrillos hasn’t been out: nailing prostitutes over Easter and let’s face it, Chris Christie has been a fantastic: governor of the state. Worst case scenario, New Jersey would get a senator who: wouldn’t fit in on: Jersey Shore: and best case, the state might get another: Chris Christie.
