Sheldon Adelson Is Heroic And All Americans Should Thank Him

Founding a: Public Relations Agency, I know a little bit about “spin” and building of brands.:  Since: Las Vegas: based gaming billionaire: Sheldon Adelson: decided to donate up to $100 Million to the Republicans to beat Obama, the media has unfairly portrayed him as an evil person.

Sheldon Adelson is heroic for all he does for this country — and should be celebrated as such. Today, the Washington Post was the latest to attack Adelson in a feature story, but the discering reader should pick up on some of the positives:

  • “He’s a scrappy fighter who defends what is his, a self-made man who held more than 50 jobs before striking gold with his Venetian casino on the Vegas Strip, and he has developed a powerful aversion to taxes and unions. He is the 12th-richest person in the nation, according to Forbes magazine, with a fortune valued at $21: billion. “
    • And wouldn’t anyone agree that an entrepreneur should have the right to hire and fire as he sees fit? Is something wrong with that? Maybe that’s why he opposes unions ?
  • “Adelson is driven by the idea of: Israel: as a muscular riposte to the Holocaust. Based on his experience as a Jewish kid who would get insulted and roughed up in a tough Boston neighborhood, Adelson believes Jewish Americans should back an Israel that puts security first and resists compromise with Arabs who do not accept its existence.” : “Israel: is at the core of everything he does,” says Fred Zeidman, a friend of Adelson, fellow Romney backer and former chairman of the: U.S.: Holocaust: MemorialMuseum.
    • American Jews should remember the 6 Million we lost only 1 generation ago we lost, and all Americans should recognize that those in the Middle East who oppose: Israel: are also: America’s enemies.:  They are one and the same.

Thank you Sheldon Adelson for all you do.:
