Why Is Everyone Going All Domestic Military Violence?
Written By : Melissa Clouthier

Good grief! I go to Memeorandum and see looney tunes from across the spectrum talking about war–not with Afghanistan or Iran–but war with ourselves.

A coup.

A dictatorship.

Is there a rhetorical war? Yes. Are the leftists intent on “remaking America” blisteringly angry? Yes. Are the Silent Majority stirred? Yes.

Does that mean people are going to scoop up their arms and aim for dirty hippies or dudes in Brooks Brothers suits (both most likely liberals, but let’s just play along with stereotypes for a minute)? Please. As troubled as America may be economically, as difficult as life might be for people and businesses, it seems that we have a long way to go before civil war, dictatorship or coups occur.

People need to chill.

I always say that if you want to know what Liberals are doing, listen to what they accuse Conservatives of doing. Seems a lot of Libs understand that Obama and the Left have begun what amounts to a coup — rapidly changing our system of government in a fundamental and probably permanent way — and so they accuse Conservatives of doing the same thing.

    Melissa,

Although I agree that there is a long way to go before a civil war, dictatorship or coups occur, I can certainly see violence (most likely unorganized) happening. If high inflation sets in, the economy continues to struggle and sputter (claims by the Prez and and Vice Prez not withstanding), if taxes increase, the debt contimes to grow, if more freedoms are taken from us (i.e., 2nd Ammendment), if criminal activity increases (i.e., home break ins) , or if the parasite class finally realizes that Prez O is not going to take care of their every need, just a few instances of violence could become the catalyst for more widespread violence.

    Regards.

I think it will have to get bad enough for the states to challenge the Fed's authority either by passing counter legislation (Texas and Arizona have provisions to opt their citizens out of Obamacare for example) or by outright secession before we have to worry about any kind of serious, organized resistance that goes beyond shouting and sign waving. If the Fed rejects the states' bids for freedom, then we are down to the level of the individual and what we'll do to protect our freedoms.
