HORROR: What This Company Does to Fertilized Embryos Will DISGUST You

A grotesque new fad has originated out of Australia and it involves destroying fertilized human embryos for a frivolous reason. A company has begun offering jewelry made out of the remains of children[1] that IVF parents didn’t want to give life.

Baby Bee Hummingbirds was founded in 2014 and they make jewelry out of breastmilk, placenta, hair and cord stumps. Embryos, however, are also a growing trend, with parents sending “embryo straws” to the company, which are then cremated and turned into jewelry.

“I don’t believe there is any other business in the world that creates jewelry from human embryos, and I firmly believe that we are pioneering the way in this sacred art, and opening the possibilities to families around the world,” founder Amy McGlade said. The jewelry is fairly inexpensive, too, running from around $80 – $600. “What a better way to celebrate your most treasured gift, your child, than through jewelry?” she added. “It’s about the everlasting tangible keepsake of a loved one that you can have forever.”

A better way to celebrate a child could be to let them live, as opposed to robbing them of the chance to live so they can be turned into cheap jewelry.

One couple, Belinda and Shaun Stafford, spoke publicly about their decision to turn their seven remaining embryos into jewelry after using IVF to conceive three children. “I wanted to keep having more babies but the emotional toll, plus financially it was too much,” Belinda said. “Donating our embryos wasn’t an option for us and I couldn’t justify the yearly storage fee.” By saying this, Belinda is tacitly acknowledging that she had several options to give her children life — carrying them herself or donating the embryos to another infertile couple. But instead, she treated the children that she willingly created as possessions rather than people.

In John Hawkins’ new book, ‘101 Things All Young Adults Should Know’, he teaches in number 70 of the book that when it comes to life, your attitude should be, “If I didn’t earn it, I don’t deserve it.”

John Hawkins was not speaking literally about life, but it applies to people like this. Someone who thinks they can cavalierly create life and then destroy it to turn it into jewelry doesn’t deserve it to begin with.
