Beat Whitey Night Deemed Not Racial

What a relief. Remember all the folks who were assaulted at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines on Beat Whitey Night? Authorities have determined there was no racism involved. A spokeswoman who suggested otherwise has been punished.

After a report filed by Sgt. Dave Murillo noted that 30 to 40 goons were loping around the fairgrounds assaulting the innocent and crowing that it was “Beat Whitey Night,” Sgt. Lori Lavorato committed a thought crime by telling the media,

“It’s all under investigation, but it’s very possible it has racial overtones.”

No doubt Murillo’s report has gone down a memory hole now that top brass has declared there to be no evidence the assaults were racially motivated. This should be obvious, when you remember that only white people can be racist. If you disagree, then you are a racist.

Having been reassigned to the lowly traffic division, Lavorato is losing her take-home unmarked police car and the extra pay she got for always being on call. She can be thankful she wasn’t banished to Siberia.

    No suprise there.

    Remember that under the existing PC orthodoxy, anti-White racism is NOT a form of racism and that minorities can never be guilty of “hate crimes”. (despite their commiting about 90% of all inter-racial crimes)

    Imagine the howls of outrage from all corners had this been gangs of skinheads hanging out at the fair attacking blacks for “beat a nigger night”. It would be the top story every night, there would blanket arrests, and calls by the media for new tougher “hate crime” laws.

    The double standard when it comes to such things is so routine now that this sort of story has become a “dog bites man” issue.

      Scenes like that in Iowa are OK by lefty standards, because to them, white people are guilty of ALL the world's problems!!

    We have to be careful. We're the parents and they're the children. The standard is impossibly high for us and we can't get anywhere without maintaining the standard.

    My understanding was that it was three nights that blacks roamed the fair beating up whites, one so badly that he had his eye socket fractured. The three nights in a row is enough proof… on the other hand in this era with cameras and with a crowd that large there should be some sort of evidence.

    It's the responsibility of the people at the fair to start coming forward and set the record straight on the internet, otherwise I think it's like the black congressman claiming ugly racial epithets were hurled on their budget march-if there isn't proof in this day and age then it didn't happen.

    Liberals would never condemn a group of black teens having a “beat whitey night.”

    Conservatives would actively condemn a group of white teens having a “beat blackey night.”

    Double standards. Conservatives have standards, liberals don't.

    What I find interesting is that the conservative commentators on here (none of whom were actually in Iowa at this event) seem to think they know more about what happened than local law enforcement does.

      What I find interesting si that when a black or a Muslim is the victim, the VERY FIRST report is that it is a hate crime. But when whites are the victim, the first thing said is that this it NOT a hate crime.

      Black youths were the perpetrators. MULTIPLE witnesses heard them say it was “Beat Whitey” Night, AND all of the victims were white.

I live in Des Moines, and know people who were there, and the City and the DMPD are getting a lot of flack about this because they are covering up what really happened. Kindly take your opinion and shove it up your ass right next to very large and empty head.
