BREAKING FERGUSON RIOTING UPDATE: Mike Brown ROBBED A CONVENIENCE STORE Right Before He Was Shot By A Police Officer
Well, this certainly blows a hole in the official narrative of an innocent man walking down the street who was blown away by a cop for no reason whatsoever.
The convenience store video reveals Michael Brown entering the store followed by Johnson. Brown hands a box of Swisher Sweets to Johnson. Brown took several boxes of cigars and turned to leave the store. “Brown grabbed the clerk and “forcefully pushed him back into a display rack.”
From the report: The incident is related to another incident detailed by Ferguson Police.
…Ferguson Missouri Police Chief Thomas Jackson identified the officer involved in the shooting of 18 year-old Michael Brown. Officer Darren Wilson shot Michael Brown during the confrontation. Wilson has six years on the force and was injured in the incident.
Apparently, Brown had robbed a store, the police were looking for him and then they found him. (Update: Although the police were looking for the men who robbed the convenience store, the officer that found him was unaware that he was the thief in question)
Does it now seem much more plausible that Mike Brown attacked the officer and tried to take his gun?
Yes, it does.
Does that mean the officer was right to blow him away?
No, not necessarily. If the accounts of Brown being shot after surrendering to the officer are true, then the officer was definitely in the wrong and he deserves to be prosecuted for it.
However, this fits a pattern we’ve seen again and again in cases like this where the initial story that gets everyone excited turns out not to be true. At a minimum, Mike Brown was a criminal scumbag the cops were looking for, not just some innocent guy on his way home, who was harassed by the police and shot.
All I can say at this point, the same thing I’ve been saying since the beginning: People should reserve judgment on the case until we actually find out all the details of what really happened.
