BREAKING: George Zimmerman Wounded in the Face As Someone Shoots at His Car

Florida resident George Zimmerman, whom you’ll recall was exonerated of murdering black teenager Trayvon Martin, was treated for injuries to his face in a Lake Mary, Florida hospital today.

Zimmerman was fired upon in the Orlando suburb of Lake Mary. Police say it may have involved an ongoing dispute.

George Zimmerman was injured in a shooting in Florida on Monday afternoon (May 11), according to multiple media reports citing local authorities. His injuries are believed to be minor.

Authorities told WFTV.com that Zimmerman was shot at during a hostile confrontation with another driver. Initial reports that a bullet had hit Zimmerman in the face were not accurate.

Zimmerman’s attorney, Don West, told The Associated Press that a bullet missed Zimmerman’s head in Monday’s shooting in the Orlando suburb of Lake Mary.

West says Zimmerman was sprayed with glass from his vehicle’s windshield and other debris.

He says Zimmerman was released from a hospital.

I supposed if Barack had a son he’d have been shooting guns at George Zimmerman’s car… or something.
