Dentist Who Secretly Filmed Women in Surgery Toilet With an iPhone Spared Prison

Eight women were violated when dentist Daniel Stocks hid his iPhone in bathrooms with the camera pointed out the toilet. However, none of those women will be receiving justice, as a judge felt that violating women’s privacy in such a despicable and underhanded way isn’t deserving of jail time.

A dirty dentist secretly filmed women on the toilet at his surgery – by leaving his iPhone on record.

Seedy Daniel Stocks made recordings of eight women by hiding his mobile in bathrooms and leaving it pointing at the toilet, The Chronicle reports.

The disgraced boss of the Always Smiling surgery, in Throckley, Newcastle, filmed four women at the practice and another four at another property.

Now a married dad, Stocks, 36, previously pleaded guilty to eight charges of voyeurism. But he was spared prison despite a judge branding the offences a “monstrous breach of trust”.

As he was given a community order, the court heard all of the victims were left feeling horrified, violated and disgusted by what happened to them.

… Sentencing him to a three year community order and ordering him to sign the sex offender register, Judge Sean Morris told him: “It was a monstrous breach of trust and the court fully understands the anger, disgust and outrage of the victims, who feel violated and deceived.”

It seems that if the court fully understood the “anger, distrust, and outrage” of the victims, who were indeed violated and deceived, then Stocks wouldn’t have escaped jail time and any significant punishment. It’s bad enough that these women had to be victim to such a disgusting excuse for a human being — now they’re also apparently victims of the justice system, too.
