Home Invasion Suspect Kicks in Door, Meets Shotgun, Dies Shortly Thereafter [VIDEO]

A home invasion occurred in Merced, California on Wednesday. The assailant was met with the long barrel of a shotgun and was subsequently shot and killed. The invasion happened after 10 pm.

The Merced Sun-Star reported on the incident in the home. According to them, a resident called the police to inform them that he had shot a home invader who had kicked open the door to his apartment. The shooter alleged that the man kicked in the door and then charged directly at him. The man then said he discharged his round from his shotgun and killed the suspect.

The deceased man was identified by ABC 30 as Moana LogoLogo.

Merced Police Lt. Don King said in a statement that the shooter did not know the assailant at all. He said, “[The resident] didn’t know who this individual was. He was fearful and has been very cooperative with individuals involved in this case.”

No kidding. This sounds like a terrifying situation. I wouldn’t know what to do if a man suddenly kicked down my door, but I hope I would have the wherewithal that this man had to react in a similar manner.

Lt. King said LogoLogo parked his car “in the driveway of the home.” It is still a mystery to police why LogoLogo chose that particular place to storm into. They are investigating into the motive of the assailant, if there was any at all. They haven’t ruled anything out and are still looking for more information.

This is a great time to reiterate that there are plenty of reasons to champion the Second Amendment as it was originally intended to be interpreted[2]. There is no more debate as to whether the American people have the God-given right to arm themselves to protect their homes, family, and property. It is ridiculous to think that the Founders only intended for militia members to have the right to own a firearm and that the common man was forbidden by the Constitution to own a gun. There are plenty of quotes from the men and women who founded this country about the natural right that we all have to self-defense with a firearm.

The people who attack this right will obfuscate, blur lines, fill the narrative with half-truths and outright lie in order to promote their agenda. The useful idiots will bleat like sheep that no one needs a gun and that even if it saves one life, it would be worth it. The cliche that when seconds matter the police are minutes away is founded in a fundamental truth that we are sovereign actors who have the right to defend ourselves. Never forget the true agenda of the hardcore left: to disarm the American populace.
