Wasserman Schultz Evidently Planned To Pay IT Aide Even While He Lived In Pakistan

One of the most unfortunate things about Trump monopolizing the media’s time is that stories like this, which are legitimately important and should be disseminated widely, are not getting the attention they deserve. This is why alternative media outlets are so important. While you might flip on Fox or CNN and hear about what color tie the President wore today and why that means that he is definitely, literally Hitler, we’re bringing you the news that actually matters.

By now, it should be commonly known that Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s IT guy, Imran Awan, was a sketchy character who was arrested at the airport after attempting to board a plane.

Arguably more interesting are the claims that Wasserman Schultz planned to pay him while he was in Pakistan, despite being unable to do his job while out of the country.

[1]

Awan had extensive access to emails sent and received by Debbie, as well as personal and professional files on her computer.

Also suspicious are the records that show that she kept him on staff, despite the fact that he was banned by House authorities. Not only that, but she also did not hire someone to take his place to deal with any potential issues that would have arisen.

From The Daily Caller[2]:

In all, six months of actions reveal a decision to continue paying a man who seemingly could not have been providing services to her, and who a mountain of evidence suggests was a liability. The man long had access to all of Wasserman Schultz’s computer files, work emails and personal emails, and he was recently accused by a relative in court documents of wiretapping and extortion.

The Florida Democrat refused to fire Awan and his wife, Hina Alvi, even after being notified by police that they were the subjects of a criminal investigation. Why? Because she believed that it was “anti-Muslim profiling.” If that isn’t suspicious, I don’t know what is.

They were finally terminated after the arrest and not after being banned from Congressional computers. I mean does that not strike anyone else as odd?

Do you think she’s going to get punished for this?
