FBI Prepares to Raid Oregon Federal Building – Bundy Militia Builds Barricades
Rumors are swirling that the FBI is getting read to raid the militia standoff in Oregon. First they’ll shut off their power and things are going to get very, very cold. Then they’ll kill the phone service including any accessible cell towers. Then they’ll block all exits to escape by. The militia has taken defensive steps by blockading a nearby road with government vehicles. The protesters are reiterating that they plan to stay as long as it takes and will only fire when fired upon. They brought their children into that compound. This could easily end in tragedy. Not good.
According to Infowars reporter Joe Biggs, who is currently on the ground at the occupation’s epicenter, several sources speaking with Ammon Bundy have stated that the FBI are preparing to descend on the remote location.
“Ammon Bundy says that they do have credible intel from three different sources that they believe that the FBI will be coming down on them,” Biggs said.
A federal source speaking with the Guardian early Tuesday said that the government’s first plan of action would be an attempt to flush out the group by shutting off the building’s power, forcing protesters to face eastern Oregon’s freezing temperatures.
“It’s in the middle of nowhere. And it’s flat-ass cold up there,” the source said. “After they shut off the power, they’ll kill the phone service. Then they’ll block all the roads so that all those guys have a long, lonely winter to think about what they’ve done.”
If they do cut the power, that is a serious escalation in the confrontation. The local sheriff, FBI and other law enforcement officials have so far held back from confronting the militia, who are heavily armed and have lookouts on a watchtower. A snowstorm is descending on the area and things are going to get very tense, very fast there. The group is comprised of about a dozen men and from the looks of it, there is nowhere near enough food to do them for very long at all. The Hammonds have now surrendered to authorities. Cliven Bundy, the father of the three boys leading the militia in Oregon, seems confused on how this is playing out. He said he had no idea they would separate themselves from the peaceful demonstration that started this in Oregon. Meanwhile, Ammon Bundy, the leader of the armed standoff, issued an ominous warning to law enforcement agencies Wednesday that any attempt to evict his band could lead to bloodshed.
