High School Shooting UPDATE: Murder Suicide Of Two Girls With A Secret – Watch Heartbreaking Video
This is just tragic. Two 15 year-old girls are dead in Glendale, Arizona. It was a murder-suicide. Police aren’t sure who shot who, but a suicide note was left. One of the girls, Dorothy Dutiel, tweeted ‘goodbye’ hours before the killings took place. This happened yesterday in the early hours of the morning. The school went on lock down immediately and parents lined the streets waiting for word on their children. Evidently, the two girls were in a relationship. May Kieu was the second girl. Both died of gunshot wounds. The sister of May Kieu teaches science at that school. What a horrible thing to happen there and such a senseless act.
From the Daily Mail:
One of the 15-year-old girls shot dead in a murder-suicide at their Arizona high school sent a chilling ‘good bye’ tweet hours before she and her girlfriend were killed.
Dorothy Dutiel has been named as the second sophomore found with a single gunshot wound at Independence High School in Glendale, Phoenix.
She was in a relationship with May Kieu, who was also shot dead on Friday morning outside her school cafeteria.
Police have called the killing a murder-suicide – saying one girl shot the other before shooting herself – but it is not been confirmed who was the aggressor.
Hours before the shooting, Dorothy tweeted: ‘Good bye.’
Some are saying that May had been trying to distance herself from Dorothy, however friends and social media posts suggested they had been a couple for more than two years. Police spokeswoman Tracey Breeden said police were called shortly before 8 am (10 am EST) on Friday and that officers were on scene within two minutes. ‘They were able to locate two female students who are 15 years old. They were found by the main building under a covered area,’ she said. ‘They were deceased at scene. This is a tragic incident and we send our condolences to their loved ones. These two girls were found with a weapon besides them and we are not looking for suspects at this time.’ There are no witnesses to the incident. There are 2,000 students at that school. As many as 150 terrified parents gathered outside a nearby Walmart as they awaited news about their children. The deaths are still being investigated, but this is a sad ending to two young lives that just shouldn’t have happened.
