Progress: Schools Teaching Your 10-Year-Old Child About Anal Sex
Written By : Lori Ziganto

Originally posted at NewsReal:

Funny, but I always thought that schools should focus on teaching our children subjects like reading, writing and math. Not so, evidently! That’s for fuddy-duddy, old school philistines. Nowadays, with that thing called Progress and hopeandchange ™, our children are being taught about things like oral and anal sex and ‘fisting’. Often under the guise of abstinence programs and without the consent, or even the knowledge of, their parents.

Montana is just the latest example of where this dangerous sexploitation of your children is occurring. Included in their new proposed “health” curriculum:

By fifth grade, they are taught there are several types of intercourse, and by the sixth grade, the draft document states that students should, “Understand that sexual intercourse includes but is not limited to vaginal, oral, or anal penetration; using the penis, fingers, tongue or objects.”

Fifth grade. That is ten and eleven year olds. Sixth grade, eleven and twelve year olds. I’m far from a prude, but I don’t care to discuss anal penetration with objects and, in fact, run screeching from my computer screen when sent to Urban Dictionary and coming across such a topic. Yet, our ten year old children are supposed to be able to handle such discussions? Worse, people think that they should have such discussions?

In Kindergarten, the new curriculum proposes that those five and six year olds know the proper terminology for body parts, such as penis, scrotum and testicles. You see, it’s far more important that they don’t use the word “pee-pee” and that they are sexually knowledgeable and empowered, at age five, than that they know how to spell their own names and count to 20.

I suppose this shouldn’t be surprising since the Obama appointed “Safe School Czar”, Kevin Jennings, promoted fisting to fourteen year olds. Of course, if you disagree with Jennings, you must be a prudish homophobe. Don’t agree with the sexualization of your children and the left’s Anti-Child agenda? You are so old school and oppressive!  Try a super cool and “empowering” demonstration of oral sex, for high school students, instead! That’s what happened in Tennessee earlier this year. Guess what? This was allegedly an abstinence program:

“It took me by surprise,” Rodrick Glover told The Tennessean. “My daughter thought it was pornography.”

“The sex-education policy says nothing about comprehensive sex,” he told the newspaper. “I am OK with the written policy with an emphasis on abstinence. How far can they go with this?”

There’s the rub; some programs are operating under the guise of being abstinence programs when they are anything but. At  Hillsboro High School in Nashville, Tennessee, for example, the high school seniors were given an actual demonstration of oral sex using anatomically correct models:

Teenagers at a Nashville public high school were given AIDS tests without their parents consent and reportedly shown how to perform oral sex – and now at least one parent is demanding answers.

The Hillsboro High School seniors were attending an eight-hour leadership class when representatives from an AIDS education organization demonstrating oral sex on anatomical models.

An actual abstinence-only program should, you know, teach abstinence. It shouldn’t teach children an “out” via alternate forms of sexual acts which, unfortunately, have convinced young people that sexual acts are not actually sexual acts.

Most young adults agree penile-vaginal intercourse is sex, but less than one in five think that oral-genital contact counts as “having sex,” according to a 2007 survey of undergraduate college students.

This attitude toward oral sex represents a dramatic and sudden shift in thinking since 1991, when a similar survey found that nearly twice as many young adults (about 40%) would classify oral-genital contact as sex.

Researchers point to former President Clinton’s infamous statement, “I did not have sexual relations with that woman,” as the pivotal turning point in society’s changing views about oral sex. The attitude shift has been dubbed the “Clinton-Lewinsky” effect.

It’s not just the Clinton-Lewinsky effect; it’s also what is being taught in our schools and a symptom of what has been happening in our society for decades. The sexualization of our children has resulted in many not only trying to turn children into little adults, but to also turn them into trampy versions of themselves.

By the Left’s redefining of words and by their allowing their agendas to drive absolutely everything, they are exploiting our children, dehumanizing them and putting them in danger.  They’ve already lost their Racist ™ card due to overuse; the scanner no longer works. They’ve lost their Sexist/Feminist card due to the fact that they’ve been exposed as Femisogynists. Now, they need to lose their For The Children card.  They do not care about children; in fact, they merely use them to further their own agendas. There is no clearer evidence than this: anal sex education. At age ten.

I’d wait around for their responses and pathetic attempts at justification, but I’m busily trying to raise a daughter who respects herself and makes smart decisions. And who is allowed to be a seven year old child. Sans thong and sans “sexual empowering knowledge” and, instead, worried more about which Betsy-Tacy book she will read next and what time her friend Will, whose “pee-pee ” she neither cares nor knows anything about, will be out to ride bikes with her.

It's all part of the “death by a thousand cuts” strategy. The goal is to introduce as much, and as many offensive elements into the public school curriculum until the public just gives up, because everybody knows you just can't fight city hall. So you either accept that they will decide the social and political mores of the next generation, using your money, or you give up and opt out (e.g. home schooling, private school). This is what Obama's mentor Bill Ayres migrated to academia, and why he and Obama funded so many radical “education” causes with the Chicago Annenburg Challenge Fund when they served together on the CAC board. All you have to do is listen to Ayres, who will tell you that you must first “tear down the education system” and “replace it” with one that will lead to a generation that will accept the social change you desire.

    What a stupid explanation.

  • http://profiles.yahoo.com/u/C3IKAXMRVZNEU5BZKUD7LK6WBA Pete Moss

Schools could concentrate on the basics if children weren't being sexualized by clothing manufacturers and the entertainment mediums. But if there's money being made stop your complaining!

Right? Well that's the right's perspective.

  • the_hawk

In your own mind maybe. No matter where the message is coming from, it's still the parent's responsibility and nobody else on how they will raise their children socially. But it's interesting that you see nothing wrong with teaching pre-pubescent children about sex in a graphic way.

    Interesting, but not surprising.

  • UFKA_Smithwick

Teach them at an appropriate age how you get pregnant, the consequences of unprotected sex (pregnancy/disease). Let them figure the rest out on their own.

Not like they can't look on the internet and get the non-essentials. For instance, I didn't expect my drivers ed teacher to tell me how to do doughnuts in a parking lot, or the intricacies of driving while texting and tuning the radio. Just the basics.

  • Mr. EMT

    Bald faced lying SOB.
The right has always stood for teaching abstinance in schools Vs left handing out condoms with the excuse “they will do it anyway so stop trying to teach them the consequences and worry about reducing the damage”
The right has always stood for parents teaching kids sex, Vs the left policies of teaching kindergarden kids sex ed.
We can go on and on about this, bottom line is you know your wrong because you are not trying to argue any point of it being right. You are just trying to sling mud by making the right look greedy.
Sorry, again nothing compares with the greed thievery happening from the left every day with your social programs.

Why don't you try using this BS line instead, “Well condoms arent working too good so are trying to teach alternative sex”
Which kids in schools are already doing by having BJ competitions in middle schools.

  • Mr. EMT

Coming from the turd head that whines it's ok since money is being made off kiddy sex?
    Not impressed.

  • whats_up

Except that Ayers and Obama never served on the same board, but keep up that lie. Not once were they on the same board, not once.

  • http://conservativebootcamp.com Martin Hale

So the Woods Fund BoD is a mass hallucination, then?

  • mightysamurai

Let me see if I can understand this insane, rambling perspective.

Clothing manufacturers and entertainment companies are “sexualizing” children, therefore schools should sexualize them more.

    *ERROR*

    *DOES NOT COMPUTE*

  • UFKA_Smithwick

Maybe parents should stop buying those products.

Kids don't have money, ad campaigns only target those with money to spend on the product they are pushing.

Parents stop buying g-strings for tots = companies stop making g-strings for tots.

But that would be that whole “personal responsibilty thing” that is apparently evil and racist and to be condemned.

Nope, just blame society because you are powerless over your own actions and demand larger more pervasive government to deal with your own weaknesses.

  • RWNReader

Once again, you are a complete mother fucking ignorant chimp

Nobody cares what POS cali stoners think, tool.

  • Mahatma

Well let me get this straight. You disagree with someones point of view so you call that someone names. Hmmmm. Guess someone's parents didn't do such a good job teaching common courtesy.

  • Mahatma

The right has always stood for teaching abstinance in schools

How's that workin' out for ya? You betcha.

  • StanW

It works every time it is tried, Mah.

  • Trench_Raider

Sorry child. Your defending yourself using a sock puppet acount aside, known trolls have expectation of any civility. The usual rules of decorum simply do not apply to them as they are not legitimate members of the forum and thus deserve whatever they get.

    Now, FOAD, little boy.

    TR

  • airfr8er

You may kindly fuck off, sir. How is that for courtesy?

  • baoxian

“Most young adults agree penile-vaginal intercourse is sex”

    There are some that don't?

    Ur publick skoolz at werk!1!

  • Mahatma

There's probably a billion or so people in this world that disprove your theory; stan.

  • mightysamurai

You do realize you're defending a person whose first post on this thread was to call someone stupid, right?

  • Mahatma

Said the “member” that was once banned from RWN.

  • Mahatma

Mel? Is that you Mel Gibson?

  • StanW

So you are saying that there are a billion people in this world that came into being by people NOT having sex.

    WOW, Mah. Just WOW!

  • UFKA_Smithwick

The rest believe (ala dworkin) that “penile-vaginal intercourse” is rape.

  • whats_up

Did you even read your own article IDIOT. It clearly states that Obama and Ayers were on different boards. How stupid are you, thanks for proving my point.

  • whats_up

Ah, I stand corrected. Wasnt aware of the woods fund. There you go RWR there they served on the same board. Thanks for pointing that out Martin and thanks for the correction.

  • http://conservativebootcamp.com Martin Hale

And you've always been the very soul of civility here, right? A veritable shining beacon of genteel manners, refined, urbane self-expression and polished, sophisticated deportment. A very nearly perfected example of the gentlemanly art of forensics which all of us in the plebeian masses should strive to emulate.

    Please.

  • TheDickNixon

Wait, you are claiming that abstaining from sex is not 100% effective in preventing pregnancy?

Are. You. Retarded. Or. Just. Stupid?

  • TheDickNixon

David Duke didn't vote for Bush in 04, but keep up that lie.

  • TheDickNixon

Your mom is very polite. She even gives change back from a ten.

  • TheDickNixon

    says El Sockpuppeto

  • Toastrider

That's something the schools don't ever teach; the consequences and results of screwing around.

Wonder how many boys and girls would be eager to bump uglies when you show them some graphic childbirthing videos, followed by a brutal discussion of how much time and energy raising a child takes. I grant teenagers are pretty stupid, but a brute-force approach might do the trick.

  • mightysamurai

They actually did do something like that when I was in high school.

  • UFKA_Smithwick

Yeah that's most of what we got. Gruesome childbirth videos and pictures of infected genitals.
