Interesting.[1] Not sure it would be something I would really covet for myself… I prefer jewelry boxes… bot this does have a certain country charm to it. All you need is a cheese grater, some hooks, beads, a toothpick, paint/brushes, sand paper and a glue gun and you can make this yourself. It looks very easy and shouldn’t take long. In the end you have a place for earrings, necklaces, bracelets etc. Very handy!

Cheese Grater[2]

From AWM:

If you have your earrings, necklaces, and bracelets strewn about your bedroom dresser, your life would be made much neater with a simple jewelry holder.

You might be thinking that a box grater would look lame in your bedroom. But hold on. Before you believe your prejudice about this DIY project, you need to see the final result. We think you’ll be surprised.

And if you make this yourself, you’re sure to like it even more. But this could also make a great gift for a friend.

With used items and ‘old country’ being in vogue today, this little project is perfect for kids and adults. It would be a great craft project for moms and their little girls as well. There are so many things you can re-purpose that are very cool in the end. This is one of those. I would never have thought of using a cheese grater for jewelry… the original idea came off Pinterest. Somebody out there is very clever. These would also make inexpensive great gifts. I sent this to my daughter and granddaughters… they will love it!
