Twitter Blasts St. Louis Rams Players After Some of Them Show ‘Solidarity’ for Ferguson Protesters [Video]

Racist much? I’m sure the media lap dogs loved this one. Some of the Rams decided bursting onto the field for a game was the perfect moment in time to make a political statement and show their solidarity with Ferguson. Not surprising as a great many of the professional teams have gang bangers and thugs as players these days. In the ‘Hands Up, Don’t Shoot’ position (which never occurred and is a propagandic lie) – a position adopted from protesters who have recently rioted, looted and burned down businesses in Ferguson, the Rams showed they stood for lawlessness and put race and political agendas ahead of the game. That deserves a penalty flag, don’t you think?

From IJReview:

In the eleven regular season games since the shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, the St. Louis Rams have done little to show solidarity with the people who live a mere 20 minutes from the stadium.

That changed Sunday when some players burst onto the field in the ‘Hands Up, Don’t Shoot’ position – a position adopted from protesters who have recently rioted, looted and burned down businesses in Ferguson.

[…]

We’ve seen players use their influence to make political points before. The LA Clippers stripped their logo festooned jerseys and threw them in the middle of the court to protest the racist rantings of their then-owner, Donald Sterling. The Miami Heat came onto the court wearing hoodies to show solidarity after the Trayvon Martin shooting.

But Sunday’s gesture by the Rams seemed out of place to many, considering the grand jury report, released just days before, confirmed the ‘The Gentle Giant’ never raised his hands in the ‘hands up, don’t shoot’ surrender pose.

So, the players are for rioting, looting and burning? They’re for accosting police officers after stealing evidently too. Shame on them for pandering and stirring the race pot at the same time. I don’t watch football anymore, but if I did… the Rams would be on my crap list. As one Twitter fan said: “It would be even better if Michael Brown had his hands up. Then he’d still be alive.” Indeed, well said. You overpaid posers wouldn’t be caught dead in those neighborhoods and you have no idea what happened, but hey… it’s looks cool, so why not? But no one says it better than this guy:
