If Abortion Funding Is Banned: Life In DUmmie World

IF ABORTION FUNDS ARE BANNED, THESE SHOULD BE BANNED TO….

The ban on federal funds for abortions is based on a religious morality, not science and certainly not any concern for women’s health. Where’s the concern for a woman carrying a baby with no brain stem, or some other incurable condition? If we are to allow women’s reproductive rights to be dictated by religious Christian extremists, then why not also allow the following:

Ban funds for vasectomies: These are birth control, and Catholics believe that’s a sin.

Prohibit money for Viagra: This encourages fornication, another sin. Accept impotence as God’s will.

No funds for implanting pig valves in human hearts: Muslims and Jews believe pigs are unclean creatures.

No circumcisions: Some religions don’t believe in this procedure, either.

No medical treatment for anybody at federal expense, since Christian Scientists don’t believe in medical care, period.

But let’s not stop there. How about cutting out funding for anything a religious or other minority doesn’t believe in – not just healthcare?

Quakers don’t believe in war. No more money for fighting them. (except that defense is actually in the Constitution, unlike abortion on demand)

Hindus don’t believe in eating beef. No subsidies for the cattle industry.

The Amish don’t believe in mechanization. No money for government-run fleets of vehicles or Amtrak.

Church of Christ members believe dancing is sinful, along with music from instruments other than the human voice. Stop funding wickedness through the National Endowment for the Arts.

Jehovah’s Witnesses don’t believe in celebrating holidays or birthdays. No more federal paid days off for Christmas, Thanksgiving, President’s Day, etc.

Deists believe the natural world is sacred. No more federal funds for destroying the earth – ban funds for logging, strip-mining, or anything that pollutes our holy earth.

Libertarians and neo-con Republicans believe public services should be privatized to save tax dollars. Stop funding firefighting, police protection, libraries and public schools.

Anarchists don’t believe in government. No more funding anything–not even salaries for Congress!

I started putting comments next to each one, then decided to leave Da Cwazy to stand on its own, except for one. Leave it too a DUmmie to completely miss the point and go truly overboard. And, of course, so many DUmmies commented with things like “great post!” and “yup, yup!” Though, I though the one that said “BAN POSTS IN ALL CAPS, TOO!” was pretty awesome.

As much as I hate to say it, I actually agree with a few of those. Gov controlling GMC and Chrysler should be bannned and Amtrak is a disaster. Typical moron going over the top. Hate to tell this intellectual giant but there is SCIENTIFIC evidence of physical and nuerological (not to mention emotional) damage to a MOTHER who has her babies killed. And the strawman of a baby with no brainstem is laughable. If you look up the numbers, that constitutes less then 1% of all abortions.

These Leftist twits always assume anyone who wants to ban abortions is motivated by religion instead of genuine concern for a human life. I’m not religious, but I think killing an unborn baby for reasons of convenience is one of the worst acts imaginable.

Uh, ok.

With the exception of the military, none of that other stuff should be Federally funded anyways. Most of it shouldn’t be funded by the government period, except public services which are state and local responsibilities.

How sad is it that responsible and Constitutional government spending is now considered a cruel satire by liberals?

Actually William, I agree with quite a few of the things on the list.

The ones I disagree with are:

Anarchists don’t believe in government. No more funding anything–not even salaries for Congress! Although I tend to agree with the part about not funding Congress since they have screwed the American public over royally over many decades.

Note I only agree with part of the statement below and I’ve edited out what I disagree with.

“Libertarians and neo-con Republicans believe public services should be privatized to save tax dollars. Stop funding public schools.” Give the parents vouchers so that they can choose what schools their children go to.

Notwithstanding the flawed reasoning, the conclusions are largely valid. The government really has no business doing most of what it does.

My opposition on abortion is based on a simple and non-religious truth… No one knows for sure when life begins! And I believe life should take presidence. As Ronald Reagan so famously said (and I am paraphrasing here), we would never bury a person until we were absolutely sure they were dead. Children deserve that same consideration in life.

And to echo what most have already said so well, most of the items in the list are things our government AND OUR TAX DOLLARS have no business being a part of!

I love that much of what’s on his list is in fact NOT currently funded with federal tax dollars, including police, schools, etc., which are funded through local government, while much of the rest of his list is either specifically provided for in the Constitution (defense, Congress), or it’s things that most Americans would happily agree to (Amtrack, NEA). I say go for it!

Yes, lets end funding wickedness through the NEA. There is no need to fund Serranos, and on top of that, the whole process of taking money to fund art is tyrannical. Two sins for the price of one frequently enough. And Thomas Jefferson would have considered it a third…the taking of money to finance a view abhorrent to the one took.

Funding art via government is favoring the rich and tasteless which is a sin in the Liberal book, right? Four sins for the price of one.
