Abortion Queen Still a Threat to Texas

Even after her inspiring life story was revealed to be an outrageous fraud, Texas is still not out from under the threat of Wendy Davis (a.k.a. Abortion Barbie) becoming the Governor.

Liberals are known for twisting language so as to hide their appalling agenda behind euphemisms. The very word “liberal” once meant the opposite of what it does now. It was adopted as a euphemism for “progressive,” which after the Woodrow Wilson Regime most Americans understood to be a euphemism for “tyrannical.” “Abortion” is a euphemism for killing unborn children; when it became clear what the word now means, they again had to create a euphemism for the euphemism: “choice.” Now that people understand that “choice” means “killing babies,” a euphemism for the euphemism for the euphemism is needed. Last fall Abortion Barbie spun being pro-death as being “pro-life.” The Valley Morning Star reported on a campaign stop in Brownsville:

“I am pro-life,” she said, borrowing from the label anti-abortion activists assign themselves. “I care about the life of every child: every child that goes to bed hungry, every child that goes to bed without a proper education, every child that goes to bed without being able to be a part of the Texas dream, every woman and man who worry about their children’s future and their ability to provide for that future. I care about life and I have a record of fighting for people above all else.”

She didn’t mention the children who go to bed in medical waste receptacles thanks to pro-abortion fanatics like herself. Even her fans acknowledge that Davis has one claim to fame: staging an 11-hour filibuster against a law making it illegal to kill babies over 20 weeks old, when they are clearly conscious of the agony of abortion. A catheter had to be inserted so she wouldn’t have to stop to go to the bathroom.

But wait — maybe the Abortion Queen isn’t so fond of abortion after all:

Wendy Davis said Tuesday that she would have supported a ban on abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy, if the law adequately deferred to a woman and her doctor. …

The law allows for exceptions for fetal abnormalities and a threat to the woman’s life, but Davis said those didn’t go far enough.

“My concern, even in the way the 20-week ban was written in this particular bill, was that it didn’t give enough deference between a woman and her doctor making this difficult decision, and instead tried to legislatively define what it was,” Davis said.

This is an obvious example of trying to have it both ways. She opposes 20-week-old babies being aborted, but only if the abortionist and his client aren’t willing to pretend that the reluctant mother wouldn’t become suicidally depressed if she refrained from “terminating” her child.

The liberal candidate has also come out in favor of the right to bear arms.

They will say literally anything to get elected. But they will impose the liberal agenda once they have power. If you doubt it, consider that the New York Slimes just published a novel-length puff piece extolling the Abortion Queen’s virtues.

The libs know that if they take Texas, the Republic has fallen. That’s why they will go after it with all the ruthlessness of Santa Anna. Texans are strongly advised to remember Goliad, remember the Alamo, remember Davis’s F rating from the NRA, and remember her 11-hour filibuster against the protection of innocent life.
