BREAKING: ATF Reverses AR-15 Bullet Ban–No Ban ‘At This Time’

In breaking news the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) now says that it will NOT issue a bullet ban for AR-15 ammunition.

The ATF has said that it will not be instituting this ban “at this time.”

This is a change after a firestorm of criticism over the plan to ban the ammo for one of the most plentiful and popular rifles in the country brought the ATF so much bad publicity.

But at one point the ATF seemed to have assumed that its bullet ban was a foregone conclusion. Months ago the ATF issued a guide that said that the bullet ban was already initiated.

The Bureau, though, quickly came out with a statement saying that the earlier guide was “a mistake” and that the billet ban was not put in place.

In any case, now the ATF is saying it is scrapping the whole thing.

Still, note the ATF’s language. It isn’t going to ban the bullet “at this time.” That means it still intends to do so and is just waiting for things to quiet down. We MUST remain vigilant, folks! This out of control government is still out of control and won’t rest until our rights are canceled.
