CNN Mad at Low-Voting Obama County, Not Worried Over No-Voting Romney Counties

CNN was gobsmacked over a county in Texas that saw an extremely low voter turnout for Barack Obama in the late elections. On the other hand the several counties in Ohio and Pennsylvania that had zero votes for Mitt Romney didn’t bother the cable Network at all.

On Friday, November 16, CNN aired an “expose” of sorts about the low Obama votes that occurred in King County Texas and took their cameras south to find out why so few voters there wanted to vote for the President.

Naturally, correspondent Gary Tuchman and the CNN crew wanted to find out if everyone in King County were racist. All Mr. Tuchman’s questions were meant to elicit examples of the King County resident’s backwards attitudes and racism.

CNN was simply outraged that only 3.4 percent of King County’s voters thought well enough of Barack Obama to vote for him on Election Day. It was a travesty.

Oh, we got lLots of outrage and shock from CNN. How could King Country be so evil as to have so few Obama voters. Of course, one might ask the same question about 68 precincts where Mitt Romney got zero votes. How is it even statistically possible for Romney to have gotten zero votes in that same election?

At least a few voters in King County pulled the lever for Obama.

As it happens, 59 precincts in Philadelphia and 9 precincts in Cuyahoga County, Ohio had exactly no votes at all for Mitt Romney.

So, what about CNN’s outrageously outraged report on those anti-Romney counties? Don’t hold your breath waiting for it.

CNN even mentioned these anti-Romney counties at the tail end of its anti-Obama county story. And what did they say about those anti-Romney counties? Meh, not a big deal.

CNN explained it all away saying that the several areas across two states that had no Romney votes was perfectly understandable. They were African American counties, you see. Why it’s perfectly reasonable that no Blacks would vote for Romney. See? No big deal.

But famed election analyst Larry Sabato of the University of Virginia was a bit taken aback[1] by so many precincts that saw not even one Romney vote.

“I’d be surprised if there weren’t a handful of precincts that didn’t cast a vote for Romney,” the regular Fox News guest who also heads the Center for Politics at the University of Virginia, said.

“Not a single vote for Romney or even an error? That’s worth looking into,” he added.

Larry is right. These results in Ohio and Philly smack of vote fraud.
