Many noticed the irony in how non-diverse the Democratic presidential candidates are. This became very obvious last night when all of the candidates standing on the debate stage where old, white, and rich individuals.
Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz was confronted about this issue during an interview with Fusion host Jorge Ramos.
“When I was watching the debate, what I was thinking was the Democratic Party lacked diversity,” Ramos said. “I didn’t see a Latino, or an African American, or an Asian on that stage.”
Wasserman Schultz didn’t answer the question — instead, she started talking about how Obama is black. She pointed out that the Democratic Party had voted for the first black president.

But she refused to acknowledge the astounding lack of diversity among the 2016 Democratic presidential candidates.
Given that Democrats are the ones who demagogue race and diversity constantly, it’s ironic that their candidates are all old and white. Meanwhile, the Republicans have extremely diverse candidates; Ted Cruz is Cuban, Marco Rubio is a Latino, Bobby Jindal is an Indian American, and Ben Carson is black.
