GOP Hopefuls Support Cuts to Planned Parenthood Funding

Remember, President Obama is an advocate of infanticide…

The pro-life organization Susan B. Anthony List has announced that nine potential GOP presidential candidates have signed on to a call for Congress to defund the abortion mill organization Planned Parenthood.

The pro-life group has statements from Rep. Michelle Bachmann, Governor Haley Barbour, Herman Cain, Newt Gingrich, former Gov. Mike Huckabee, former Gov. Sarah Palin, Rep. Ron Paul, Gov. Tim Pawlenty, former Gov. Mitt Romney, and former Senator Rick Santorum all saying in one way or another the Planned Parenthood should be defunded.

Abortion is certainly an issue that shine a light of stark differences between Republicans and President Ogbama. Obama is solidly for abortion. In fact, he is a supporter of infanticide as his own words have clearly shown.

Back in 2001 when Barack Obama was an Illinois State Senator his words on the floor of the Illinois Senate show how far he goes in support of the legal murder of infants. His weasel words spoken on March 30, 2001 are a glaring example.

When Illinois Senator O’Malley introduced legislation to prevent the murder of children born alive — even if the child was born alive after a failed abortion attempt. It was called the born-alive bill (SB 1093) and would have prevented doctors from murdering infants that could survive outside the womb. Then State Senator Barack Obama immediately stood to oppose the bill.

[starting on page 86 of transcript]… whenever we define a previable fetus as a person that is protected by the equal protection clause or the other elements in the Constitution, what we’re really saying is, in fact, that they are persons that are entitled to the kinds of protections that would be provided to a — a child, a nine-month-old — child that was delivered to term. That determination then… would forbid abortions to take place.

I mean, it — it would essentially bar abortions, because the equal protection clause does not allow somebody to kill a child, and if this is a child, then this would be an antiabortion statute. … this essentially says that a doctor is required to provide treatment to a previable child, or fetus, however way you want to describe it.

Viability is the line that has been drawn by the Supreme Court to determine whether or not an abortion can or cannot take place. And if we’re placing a burden on the doctor that says you have to keep alive even a previable child as long as possible and give them as much medical attention as — as is necessary to try to keep that child alive, then we’re probably crossing the line in terms of unconstitutionality.

Remember, this bill prevented doctors from killing babies that were alive and no longer in the womb. With this Obama firmly announced his support of infanticide.

The nine GOP hopefuls who made their position known on the Susan B. Anthony List couldn’t have revealed a stronger contrast to President Barack “Killah” Obama on this issue.
