More of Obama’s ‘Transparency’ Lies

Remember how Obama stomped across the country between 2004 and 2009 saying that the Bush administration was the “most secretive administration ever”? Remember how he assured us that if HE won the presidency he’d have the most “transparent” administration ever?

He lied.

About both point.

As Andrew Malcolm of the L.A. Times notes, Obama has denied by half again as many as FOIA requests as Bush that has been presented to his “transparent” administration to fulfill.

That’s right, Obama has upped the denials of freedom of information requests by 50% over Bush’s rate. So much for that new “transparent” administration Obama promised.

As Malcolm reports, “An Associated Press examination of 17 major agencies’ handling of FOIA requests found denials 466,872 times, an increase of nearly 50% from the 2008 fiscal year under Bush.”

Unbelievable. This liar didn’t even try to fulfill his promise to have a presidency more open to public scrutiny!

So, yes, he lied about both points. Bush’s administration isn’t the “most secretive administration ever,” and Obama won’t have the most transparent administration ever.

Barack Obama truly is an Aliceite.

Warner, I heard a rumour that the administration was conducting an investigation of these allegations and they’ll be posting the results of their investigation on the web for at least 72 hours…oh, wait, I’m sorry. It was their bills they were going to let the public review before voting on it.

Obama’s Approval Rating Lowest Yet, Congress’ Declines

PRINCETON, NJ — President Barack Obama’s job approval is the worst of his presidency to date, with 46% of Americans approving and 48% disapproving of the job he is doing as president in the latest Gallup Daily three-day average.
The new low ratings come during a week in which the White House and Democratic congressional leaders are working to convince wavering House Democrats to support healthcare reform, which they hope to pass using a series of parliamentary maneuvers in the House of Representatives and Senate.
Americans hold Congress in far less esteem than they do the president — 16% approve and 80% disapprove of the job Congress is doing, according to the latest update from a March 4-7 Gallup poll. That is just two points off the record-low 14% Gallup measured in July 2008.

These continued horrific ratings by voting Americans can be explained by some or all of the following:
The voters simply are misled by FNC…the voters are too dim to appreciate socialist bills…the voters are not listening to the gifted Hollyweirds…this always happens before the expensive socialist bills kick in…the voters have inferior instincts/common sense…the voters have read the history of socialized economies…the lamestream media is a fading obviously biased entity…the voters are greedy capitalists pigs that enjoy freedom…Obama-Pelosi-Reid are speaking in alien tongues…many voters remember Jimmah Carter…Congress is actually Oz…Gallup is not run by ACORN…many voters know democrats must lie to push their secular socialist pacifist agenda…reality can be replaced by fantasy for only so long…the voters understand practice over academic theories.
So there you go.
