New ‘Caitlyn Jenner’ Halloween Costume Upsets Transgender Activists

A costume company has put out a “Caitlyn Jenner” costume for Halloween (its only 2 months away already) but now gay rights and transgender activists are furious over the costume claiming that it is “trans-phobic.”

Activists are attacking the company and hinting they may set up a boycott of Spirit Halloween, the company offering the costume.

The costume recreates Jenner’s look when she debuted as a woman on the cover of Vanity Fair in June, complete with shorts, a padded top, a wig, and a sash that reads, “Call Me Caitlyn.”

Twitter blew with expressions of anger about the costume, with some calling it “disgraceful,” “hurtful,” and “transphobic.”

Can’t take a joke, I guess.
