RNC Launches No More Frankens Website
Written By : Warner Todd Huston

There is little doubt that Al Franken’s namesake is a perfect analogy because he is certainly a Frankenstein of a Senator. When he barely won the Senate seat for the Democrats in Minnesota over incumbent Norm Coleman several years ago it was painfully obvious that major improprieties and problems marred that election. His win was cobbled together from various “dead” sources, if you will. As the RNC says, Franken’s election “serves as a glaring and painful reminder to voters that we can never take any election for granted.”

Today it certainly seems that we are on the precipice of a great Republican surge. Every poll, even those that favor Democrats, say that the GOP is poised to make great gains on the local, state and national level. But we cannot rest on our election day vote alone. As we’ve so often seen, GOP wins repeatedly turned to slight loses with post election day chicanery.

The Republican National Committee wants to keep all Republicans aware of this looming situation, too.

The RNC is launching a new website to address this situation. “In order to protect our hard-fought victories, we must fund and operate a winning ground game which puts the margin of victory out of reach,” RNC Chair Michael Steele says in a press release.

Already reports are emerging from Las Vegas where Republican voters are heading to the voting booth only to discover their ballots have been pre-checked for Senator Harry Reid!

We cannot waste this opportunity by limping over the finish line; this has to be a united sprint through the finish. After all of the hard work and long hours, we can’t wake up on November 3rd realizing that we didn’t push hard enough.

Help us prevent more Al Frankens from grabbing victory from the hands of Republicans.

So, today the RNC has launched its new website, www.NOMOREFRANKENS.com.

Let’s get to the polls, people. Let’s get our family, friends and neighbors to the polls, too, and pull that Republican lever.

As Hugh Hewitt says, if it ain’t close, they can’t steal it.

Full Press Release:

Today we are 6 days out from a major crossroads, the November 2nd midterm elections. All the pollsters, pundits and newsmakers continue to report that Republicans are poised for victories across the nation, not just within states’ federal races but also within the races for many statehouses and Governors’ seats.

Thankfully, we are in a good position to bring major victories to Illinois. But when we look beyond November 2nd, we can see the Democrat lawyers, liberal shadow organizations and labor unions preparing to challenge our rightful Election Day victories. There is no question that Democrats will do whatever it takes to hold onto power in Illinois. Unfortunately, it’s no longer enough to simply win a close race. We need to ensure that our Republican candidates can win decisively. In order to protect our hard-fought victories, we must fund and operate a winning ground game which puts the margin of victory out of reach.

A fresh example of what happens when we don’t complete the fight still lives in our recent memory. Recall that Minnesota’s Norm Coleman was ahead on Election Night by over 700 votes, only to lose in the end to Al Franken! Al Franken serves as a glaring and painful reminder to voters that we can never take any election for granted. We must fight through the finish line.

Al Franken is the two-word retort to someone mocking Christine O’Donnell.

I have only one good thing to say about Al Franken.

Thanks to him Patty Murray is no longer the dimmest bulb in the Senate.

  • Proud Infidel

And I sincerely wish for NMF to be a complete and total success, seeing the liberals’ manifold stunts and antics on TV and the net from here in the Sahara Desert has been a real drag on my motivation and morale as well as that of others. I just pray that I get to read about the left’s getting their posteriors handed to them on Nov 3rd!!
