Sad Poll: Only 19% Know That Freedom of Religion is in the U.S. Constitution

A new poll taken by Washington D.C.’s Newseum–a museum dedicated to the media–has found that few Americans know that freedom of religion is a Constitutional right.

THIS is why religion is under assault right now by Democrats and Obama. It’s happening because these Christian-hating leftists understand that the American people have become stupid thanks to our failed educational system, so they know that they can do things that would never have been able to get past the American public until now.

Today’s newest generations are some of the dumbest, least educated in civics and history in our entire history.

Here is what the Newseum found:

Only 19 percent of American adults know that the First Amendment to the Bill of Rights guarantees the freedom of religion, according to a new survey by the Newseum Institute.

Only 10 percent know the First Amendment guarantees the freedom of the press.

And 33 percent of Americans have no idea at all what rights the First Amendment guarantees.

The First Amendment says: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or abridging the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.”

Thank the liberals in our miseducation system for this.
