Senators Stand By Prostitution, Tax Cheat Hiding ACORN
Written By : Warner Todd Huston

Democratic Illinois Senators Durbin and Burris both voted to stand behind ACORN (the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) in a Senate vote to defund the criminal organization this week.

A measure placed in the Transportation, Housing and Urban Development appropriations bill was overwhelmingly passed by the Senate to defund the group over the latest round of bad publicity of this nefarious organization.

On top of the last decade of constant convictions for vote fraud all across the country, ACORN offices have been caught in a tri-city “sting” of sorts where ACORN employees were helping to cover up what they understood to be a mortgage fraud and prostitution business by helping fudge IRS forms to disguise the activities. These ACORN employees even thought they were helping to cover up sex trafficking in underage, illegal aliens.

And we in Illinois can stand proud that our two Senators, Dick “Turban” Durbin — he of saying our troops are like Nazis — and Roland Burris — that accidental Senator appointed by our soon to be jailed ex-Governor — are standing behind this criminal enterprise. We are so lucky to have them.

Yes, Durbin and Burris are happy to stand by sexual slavery, tax cheating, mortgage fraud, and vote fraud. What a pair, eh?

The list of Senators that voted to shield the criminals are as follows:

  • Roland Burris, D-Ill.
  • Bob Casey, D-Pa.
  • Dick Durbin, D-Ill.
  • Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y.
  • Patrick Leahy, D-Vt.
  • Bernie Sanders, I-Vt.
  • Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I.

Your support of underage prostitution by ACORN is noted. Frankly, I'm not surprised.

Shut up, hoggo. Nobody cares what you think.

Acorns rebuttal to this attack is statements by Ms. Kaelke that the two people involved in the "Sting" were dressed ridiculously and acting so absurd that it was obvious it was a prank, and she played along for mere amusement.

I know the general response is "Of course she says that, they have to cover it up" But lets look at one other thing: She also claimed in the video to have shot and killed her ex-husband. She didn't reports on the rebuttals page state he is alive and living in California. Pretty sure if she told them she killed her husband, and he is alive, she was screwing with them.

ACORN is a bad organization involved with massive amounts of voter fraud and other assorted legal crimes. It needs to be shut down. This video is the stupidest possible attack on ACORN and took all of two minutes using Google to debunk parts of it.

Please, lets not let bad journalism give sympathy to this corrupt organization.

  • klaatuwolf

Taggerung, if it were just one video, I might buy that. And two videos in two different places might be a coincidence. But three in three different areas? C'mon. I don't believe that all the folks taped were "just playing along".

  • Mike_M

I'm sure this will get its own thread today, but the GOP is finally growing a spine and is moving to cut off ACORNs Federal funding. It's also finally a case of good timing, as some Democrats seem to be getting on board in order to distance themselves from the mounting scandal.

Expect a huge backlash and unhinged reaction from the left if this gains steam. This strikes at the vitals of Obama's power base and the Democrat Party machinery, and in fact their whole Alinsky/Cloward-Piven organizing strategy.

Then they deserve to be punished for being so stupid.

There is the potential to demonize any organization at any time based upon the actions of a few participants. The current witch hunt strategy being used by Fox News and other groups regarding Acorn could easily be applied to those in public service, for example the police, or any religious denomination. I have no doubt that there are people within this organization that have performed questionable acts. I am just not ready to condemn the entire organization or the those targeted by the real objective of this strategy, smearing the people in public servants and legislators who have supported Acorn.

  • Mike_M

"There is the potential to demonize any organization at any time based upon the actions of a few participants."

You mean like when President Bill Clinton personally blamed conservative talk radio (which at the time meant Rush Limbaugh alone) for the Oklahoma City bombing despite a complete lack of evidence or even a logical connection?

Sorry, bad example. That was much worse.

    *snort*

So their excuse for suborning prostitution and tax evasion is the old "I was just joking" excuse?

    Really?

You really want to go with that one?

    "pott"

    "chistised"

    "himslef"

    "whoose"

hoggo, your fat little fingers were on a roll last night – and not a good one. Something on the order of one out of every 40 words spelled wrong/mistyped. My favourite of this bunch is "chistised" – it has a vaguely naughty sound to it, thus subverting the whole intended meaning of the sentence. Good stuff, hoggo.

I remember once taking you to task for screwing up and using the phrase "casting dispersions" for "casting aspersions". You told me in your reply that you were proud to use such mistakes as 'teachable moments' for you to improve yourself. Well, that was over a year ago, and you're still wallowing around in the pit of your own ignorance and limited intellect. When's that vaunted learning going to show itself in your writing, hoggo? When are we going to see evidence of you upping your game? Or are you just another old dog who can't learn new tricks, either out of habit or stupidity?

But on to the content you've posted – or the absence thereof. Your main point is…wait, you have no main point, other than that you needed to reveal that you have a personal hard-on against another writer here at RWN, this time, because he's ambiguous. Alert the media – it's another patented hoggo man-crush! It's also the pot calling the kettle black. You write some of the vaguest, most ambiguous drivel I've ever read, so for you to criticise, well, it boggles the mind, it does.

Not only did you screw your panties into a bunch over your stylistic differences with Mr. Huston, then you appended that Johnny-come-lately, second comment five minutes later, with it's "yeah, oh and another thing…" tone. It all speaks volumes about a mind so disorganised and so scattered that it can't even distill all its seething venom down into one comment.

It's interesting to note that in probably two years of posting here, you've failed to leave any positive impression on folks here, failed to provide any logically persuasive arguments on anything, and have failed to change any one person's opinions on the topics you've opined about. And in the process, you've burned through 8-10, different identities in a failed attempt to cover your fat hoof prints. What's your success rate now, hoggo? 0 for 5,000? I suppose it's a good thing that you're persistent – except with you, persistent takes on a meaning closer to the persistence exemplified by jock itch, toe fungus and herpes.

I'm betting your response to this message hoggo, if any, will be another passive-aggressive attack ('cause that's your natural refuge when cornered) with at least one reference to "attacking the messenger" stuck in it. Oh boo hoo. Poor little hoggo. Go home and cry to the hoggette. But if you do respond, at least we'll get to see your hurt 'widdle feewings' on display for a chuckle.

Not only is mightysamurai correct in stating that no one cares what you think, but I would add that you're simultaneously a source of amusement for many here since you're so utterly willing to trot out the dullest of your many dull thoughts in public for us to read.

Then shut the fuck up about the Google search, call your representatives and demand that ACORN be shut down.

This video is the stupidest possible attack on ACORN and took all of two minutes using Google to debunk parts of it.

Then we'll patiently wait for you to provide the links that proves this. Considering that you didn't even bother to do so proves you're a liar, hoggo.

This "bad" journalism is exposing ACORN while the "good" journalists are looking the other way. Looks like you have a mixed-up concept of good vs. bad.

Drop this bullshit and admit it once and for all.

Charlie Gibson never even heard of this story, so it just can't be important.

Gee, in my day the excuse was, "Honest judge, she looked like she was 18."

So, certain members of the "most ethical Congress ever" is standing by an organization that supports underage trafficking?

I hope they enjoy their reservation in hell.

  • http://conservativebootcamp.com martinhale

"I am just not ready to condemn the entire organization or the those targeted by the real objective of this strategy, smearing the people in public servants and legislators who have supported Acorn."

Hmm. Three separate documented instances of collusion in a variety of criminal matters, including the use of underage illegals in criminal activities; 11 indictments for voter fraud; investigations pending in several other states regarding voter fraud; a major investigation in NV where the former state leader is singing his tonsils sore about corrupt practices. Yeah, sure, they're squeaky clean, Mr. Ingersoll. Squeaky clean.

"Just a few bad apples, harrumph. Nothing to see here, let's move along, now. Hey, look over there, instead."

Don't quit your day job, 'cause brother, you're nowhere near ready to be spokesweasel for a group like ACORN.

BTW by saying "people in public servants" are you making some vague sexual innuendo about people having relations with public servants? Do tell. Inquiring minds, etc…

It's more than the underage trafficking they are supporting. It's the support of the wholesale voter fraud ACORN has perpetrated.

You're absolutely correct, elo. My blood started boiling the moment "underage" and "trafficking" were mentioned.

I would personally love to kick these Congressional representatives in the teeth for selling their souls.

Her first husband is stone-cold DEAD.

Her current husband has a restraining order to keep her the hell away from him.

Come on, you really think that this woman would be sharp enuff to recognize a con, and then play along with it convincingly the entire time?

And why did ACORN fire the other workers, if they, too, were just "playing along."

I think we all recognize that ACORN thought long and hard before finally coming up with an "explanation" of sorts that was at least semi-plausible (were one a totally gullible idiot).

  • http://Kingfisher Kingfisher

The New York Post is reporting that A.G. Cuomo is now calling for an investigation into ACORN:

    Cuomo probes ACORN's 'brothel' affair
    http://www.nypost.com/p/news/regional/ny_dems_give_acorn...
The MSM won't be able to sit on this one much longer. I wonder of those Dems who voted to support ACORN are regretting their decision? If so, good.

Obama's house-o-cards is starting to fall down.

  • RWNReader2

the fact that Senator Vitter voted against the bill while he himslef was personally engaging prostitutes for his own personal pleasure a few years back.

That is in fact, a lie. But we don't even pretend to expect you to get your facts straight. Because you are a jackass.

  • http://Kingfisher Kingfisher

And why did ACORN fire the other workers, if they, too, were just "playing along."

Aww, ACORN didn't "fire" those workers, they only pretended to fire them just as I'm sure those workers are only "pretending" to collect unemployment insurance and welfare checks.
