Unbelievably, Former ‘Saturday Night Live’ Comedian Claims the Show is ‘Too Conservative’

A former cast member of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live”–one of the ones no one remembers–just made himself look like a fool by claiming that the long-running comedy show is a conservative show. This doofus says that the show famous for rarely attacking a liberal is “too conservative.”

The former SNL trouper is named Horatio Sanz. I know what you are thinking… “Horatio who???”

This nobody made a whole host of idiotic statements recently…

Sanz, known as a fat sidekick to Will Ferrell and Jimmy Fallon from 1998 to 2006, slammed the only thing that anybody knows him for while on sportswriter Bill Simmons’ popular Grantland podcast.

“That’s what you get out of that story?” Sanz said about a sketch mocking Nancy Pelosi’s eccentric San Francisco roots. “That everyone in San Francisco is so weird that they’re wearing fucking leather and whipping each other.”

“It’s that kind of conservative bullshit that I was against,” Sanz said.

Sanz also said that Will Ferrell’s beer-drinking “bro” impression of George W. Bush helped swing the 2000 election to Bush over Al Gore.

Simmons brought up Kate McKinnon’s recent Hillary Clinton impression and remarked that he was surprised by it because, “They don’t usually go after Democrats like that,” but Sanz was adamant that SNL is too right-wing.

“In the spirit of the show as it was when it started, it should be a little more anti-establishment, a little less conservative,” Sanz said. “So I think that the message of the show has become less about these leftist politics and more about just being popular.”

This guy must have done an awful lot of drugs on the set of SNL.
