Wendy Davis Admits She Is Actually Opposed to Her Supposed Core Belief on Open Carry
Texans already know better than to elect a lib like Wendy Davis (a.k.a. Abortion Barbie). But hopefully this lesson will prove instructive for others who might be tempted to cast their votes foolishly:
As you might recall, she voiced support during the campaign for governor for legislation to approve open carry — the right to carry a handgun in full view. At the time it seemed out of character. However, she insisted that this was a long-held core belief as a Texan.
Now that the election is over, she tells the San Antonio-Express News:
“There is one thing that I would do differently in that campaign, and it relates to the position that I took on open carry. I made a quick decision on that with a very short conversation with my team and it wasn’t really in keeping with what I think is the correct position on that issue.”
Fortunately she lost, so we may never know what other core beliefs were actually positions she temporarily adopted so as to dupe voters. But at least we can be sure that she truly believes in the sanctity of abortion.
The lesson: leftists will be leftists, whatever lies they may tell on the campaign trail.
Her core belief is that scissors belong in babies’ necks.
