BREAKING: Something BIG Is About to Happen in Trump’s White House

Donald Trump ran on a promise to “drain the swamp” in Washington, D.C., but so far, that’s been a disappointment. His most notable firing was of FBI Director James Comey and that created no small amount of controversy. And now, speculation is rampant that more heads are about to roll.

Trump is reportedly considering a major purge of his top White House staff, after the Comey firing scandal left him thinking that he needed a “huge reboot.” And staffers allegedly on the chopping block are not small names, either — under consideration are people from chief of staff Reince Priebus to press secretary Sean Spicer.

“He’s frustrated and angry at everyone,” one source said, saying that Trump wants to “go big” in his response to the Comey scandal. “The question now is how big and how bold.”

The Comey firing was a scandal that is still dogging the Trump administration. Some are alleging that Comey was fired because he was heading the investigation into supposed ties between Russia and the Trump campaign during the election. As recently as Sunday, Democrats were still complaining about Comey’s firing and even threatening to refuse to vote on the nomination of a new FBI director until a special prosecutor was appointed.

“To have that special prosecutor, people would breathe a sigh of relief, because then there would be a real independent person overlooking the FBI director,” Chuck Schumer said to CNN.

Part of the scandal came from Trump himself, after he tweeted out an insinuation that he had secretly recorded his conversations with Comey.

Even Republicans were not amused, with Lindsay Graham responding that this was not an issue to be “cute” with and called the tweet “inappropriate.” “If there’s tapes of this conversation, they need to be turned over,” Graham said. Mark Warner, the top Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, also responded by saying it was “outrageous” and even compared it to the Watergate scandal that forced Richard Nixon’s resignation.

All of this is allegedly infuriating Trump as negative headlines continue to swirl. He is said to be particularly angry with his communications office and morale in the West Wing is said to be very low at the moment.
